    摘要: A method and radio interface having a reconfigurable massive multiple input-multiple output (MIMO) array system for energy efficient communications are provided. According to one aspect, a method includes, for a beam direction, one of activating and deactivating each of a plurality of radio frequency (RF), branches based at least in part on the beam direction and at least one power constraint, each RF branch being in electrical communication with at least one antenna of an antenna array of the radio interface. The method also includes, for the beam direction, configuring at least one switch of a plurality of switches positioned between antenna elements to selectively affect a mutual coupling between at least two antenna elements of the antenna array that are in electrical communication with deactivated RF branches, the configuring being based at least in part on the beam direction.

    摘要: Deploying at each transition between separate areas of a facility a plurality of RFID reader antennas. Each antenna is deployed at a given transition covering a span of the given transition from a different perspective such that each point in the span is covered by at least two antennas. The antennas of a first transition between a first area and a second area of the separate areas detect, and in combination with an RFID system in communication with the antennas of the first transition, a tag known to have been in the first area. The RFID system identifies an item associated with the detected tag as moving to the second area. The antennas of a particular transition of the second area subsequently detect, in combination with the RFID system in communication therewith, the tag, and identifying the detected item as leaving the second area for an area across the particular transition.

    摘要: A radiometer for a microwave receiver according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an antenna line through which radiation power corresponding to the temperature of a probe is received from an antenna; a first reference rod having a first reference temperature fixed in advance; a second reference rod having a second reference temperature fixed in advance; a first microwave switch for selectively switching the antenna line, the first reference load, and the second reference load; a second microwave switch switched with the same clock as the first microwave switch; a demodulator for multiplying a signal output from the second microwave switch by a predetermined gain value and outputting same; an integrator for integrating the signal output from the demodulator; and a controller for measuring the temperature of the probe on the basis of a signal output from the integrator.
