摘要: A vehicle composition for coating materials is disclosed. The vehicle composition includes an organic liquid, finely divided particles of a vinyl polymer dispersed in the organic liquid and a polymer of alkoxysiloxane having an alkoxy group of 3 to 5 carbon atoms dissolved in the organic liquid. The vehicle composition is prepared by polymerizing at least one vinyl monomer in the organic liquid which has the alkoxysiloxane polymer dissolved therein, the organic liquid being capable of dissolving the vinyl monomer but incapable of dissolving the vinyl polymer obtained therefrom.

摘要: This invention provides a cationic electrodepositable coating composition comprising:(A) 30 to 1% by weight of a high-molecular-weight polyurethane resin prepared by reacting (a) an organic polyisocyanate, (b) a high-molecular-weight polyol, and (c) a diol having at least one tertiary amino group, the high-molecular-weight polyurethane resin (A) having a SP value of 9.5 to 12.0 and a number average molecular weight of at least 15,000; and(B) 70 to 99% by weight of an epoxy-type cationic electrodepositable resin.
