    Abstract: A fiber material storage device for a textile includes a storage chute having a chute housing and a supply line leading into the storage chamber. Fiber material is pneumatically conveyed with conveying air into the storage chamber. A cleaning unit in the storage chamber cleans contamination from the conveying air and includes a cleaning chamber. A semipermeable dividing wall is situated between the storage chamber and the cleaning chamber to retain the fiber material in the storage chamber and allow the contaminated conveying air to flow into the cleaning chamber. A filter element is situated in the conveying air flow between the cleaning chamber and outer surroundings to retain the contamination in the cleaning chamber and allow filtered conveying air to escape into the surroundings. The cleaning housing has a collection chamber situated underneath the cleaning chamber, wherein the contamination retained by the filter element settles in the collection chamber.

    Abstract: A pan scale for weighing and ejecting fiber components onto a mixing belt includes an upwardly open container having a plurality of side walls and a bottom formed by a single piece comprising a rotatably hinged bottom flap rotatable from a closing position abutting on one of the side walls into an open position folded away from such side wall, or two pieces comprising rotatably hinged bottom flaps that are rotatable away from one another from an inner closing position abutting against one another into an outer open position. The single bottom flap or at least one of the two bottom flaps includes a retaining device on a bottom surface thereof. Upon opening of the respective bottom flap, a part of the fiber components are retained in the container by the retaining device up to a partial opening angle (β) of the bottom flap.

    Abstract: A fiber processing system for opening and mixing fiber material includes a plurality of bale openers for opening fiber bales. Conveying devices are arranged downstream of the bale openers for mixing and conveying the opened fiber material to a downstream processing device. The bale openers are divided into at least two opener groups, wherein each opener group produces a respective fiber mixture. Each opener group is allocated one or more of the conveying devices arranged in such a manner that the respective fiber mixtures are transported directly away from their associated opener group in different directions and the fiber mixtures are subsequently combined before or in the processing device into an overall fiber mixture.

    Abstract: A conveying unit of a textile machine has an endless circulating and drivable conveying element, the conveying element having a conveying area on an outer side thereof to receive and convey textile material. Opposite side walls are disposed to hold the textile material in the conveying area in a transverse direction of the conveying element. A sealing device is arranged between each of the side walls and the conveying element such that an interior space enclosed by the conveying element is at least partially sealed with respect to the textile material.     Abstract: The invention relates to a fiber processing system for opening and mixing fiber material, with a multiple number of bale openers (2) for opening fiber bales (FB) and conveying devices (4a, 4b; 14a, 14b) downstream of the bale openers (2) for mixing and conveying the opened fiber material to a downstream processing device (10), for example a mixing chamber or a carding feed.     Abstract: A fiber conveyor for a fiber blending unit includes a blending belt, wherein fiber material dropped onto the blending belt from a bale opener is transportable away by the blending belt. Opposite guide walls are arranged laterally to the blending belt to guide the fiber material on both sides of the blending belt. A rotary distributor is arranged above the blending belt so that the fiber material dropped onto the blending belt is distributable in a transverse direction of the blending belt between the two guide walls by rotational movement of the rotary distributor.
