摘要： A novel, cost effective optical filter is employed for photosensors used in ultraviolet-based water purification systems. Optically tuned to specifically eliminate the non-germicidal wavelength polychromatic emissions from mercury lamps, this unique optical filter approach significantly reduces the cost in manufacturing reliable water purification systems employing ultraviolet light.
