摘要： A touch screen panel provided in an image display device. The touch screen panel includes a transparent substrate, a plurality of first sensing patterns on a first side of the transparent substrate and coupled to each other along a first direction, a first insulating film on the first sensing patterns, and a plurality of second sensing patterns on the first insulating film and coupled to each other along a second direction crossing the first direction. The second sensing patterns are alternately arranged with the first sensing patterns to not overlap with the first sensing patterns, wherein the thickness of the first sensing patterns is different from that of the second sensing patterns.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device having vertical alignment films formed on pixel electrodes of a thin film transistor substrate and a common electrode of a common electrode substrate, and horizontal alignment films formed in a shape of plural belts on the vertical alignment films. The horizontal alignment film of the thin film transistor substrate and the horizontal alignment film of the common electrode substrate are substantially perpendicular to each other. Accordingly, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the two substrates includes a splay area, a homeotropic area, and hybrid area, wherein the hybrid area is disposed around the splay area and the homeotropic area. Since the hybrid area serves as an alignment transition seed, the liquid crystal molecules of the splay area can be easily changed to have a band alignment. Therefore, it is possible to decrease an alignment transition voltage and to enhance an alignment transition speed.

摘要： A touch screen panel for an image display device and a method of fabricating the same. The touch screen panel includes: a transparent substrate; a plurality of first and second sensing patterns on one side of the transparent substrate, the first sensing patterns coupled to one another along a first direction, and the second sensing patterns positioned between the first sensing patterns including patterns separated from one another; a first insulating layer on the first and second sensing patterns, the first insulating layer having a plurality of contact holes, and the contact holes exposing portions of the second sensing patterns; and connecting patterns on the first insulating layer, the connecting patterns coupling the second sensing patterns to one another along the second direction through the contact holes. In the touch screen panel, the first insulating layer is formed of a transparent photoresist.

摘要： The touch screen panel according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of coupling patterns arranged on a transparent substrate in an island shape, an insulating film formed on the coupling patterns and having contact holes arranged corresponding to end portions of the coupling patterns, and first and second sensing patterns formed on the insulating film. The second sensing pattern includes second sensing cells, and each of the second sensing cells are formed in a region of the insulating film having a pair of adjacent contact holes to be electrically coupled to coupling patterns exposed through the contact holes.

The touch screen panel includes a transparent substrate; a plurality of first sensing patterns on the transparent substrate and connected along a first direction; a first insulating layer on the first sensing patterns; and a plurality of second sensing patterns on the first insulating layer and connected along a second direction. The second sensing patterns are alternately disposed with the first sensing patterns and not overlapped with the first sensing patterns. The touch screen panel further includes a plurality of dummy patterns in at least one of first dummy regions between the first sensing patterns and second dummy regions between the second sensing patterns.

A temperature sensor senses a temperature of the panel and/or an environment surrounding the panel. A power supply controls the temperature of the panel by heating the conductive layer in response to the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor.
