Abstract:
A bicycle seat cushion lifting and adjusting device is disposed on an outer side of a piston rod inside a hydraulic cylinder and sheathed with an elastic member. The elastic member is compressed by an oil inside the cylinder into a compress status in a room temperature environment. In a low temperature environment, the volume of the oil is decreased, and the elastic member resumes its original status to fill up the space of the cylinder caused by the decreased volume of the oil, to maintain a stable oil pressure inside the cylinder. When the seat cushion lifting and adjusting device is used in a low temperature or room temperature environment, the height of the seat cushion can be adjusted successfully to maintain a stable use of the bicycle seat cushion lifting and adjusting device.
Abstract:
A bicycle seatpost structure mainly provided with a shock absorber includes a sealed chamber, a buffer element and a gas. The gas is filled in the sealed chamber to change a gas pressure in the sealed chamber. The buffer element is elastic and installed in the sealed chamber for providing an upward elastic support force to an up tube of the seatpost. When a rider sitting on the saddle presses at the saddle, a shock damping force is produced, and the shock damping force and flexibility may be adjusted by the gas pressure and changed anytime according to the rider's body weight or preference.
Abstract:
An installation method and an apparatus of a strain gauge sensor are capable of driving an object to be measured to generate a deformation signal by a pushing/pulling force. At least two strain gauge sensors are installed on surfaces with different amounts of deformation and at an installation location of an electrical vehicle according to the installation method. The installation method includes Method 1: When a manual pushing/pulling force is applied, the installation location is deformed and the deforming action force is directly proportional to the pushing/pulling force. Method 2: When the pushing/pulling force is applied, the vehicle deforming direction at the installation location is independent to the pushing/pulling force moving direction. Method 3: The strain detecting direction of the strain gauge sensor is the same as the vehicle deforming direction at the installation location. Therefore, pulling or driving force data can be measured accurately.
Abstract:
A bicycle seat post height adjustment mechanism, in a state of locking, has a lower valve packing ring blocking a lower valve port. Moreover, based on demands, an upper valve packing ring is allowed selectively to block an upper valve port or to be away from the upper valve port to stay on top of the upper valve port. Thus, a pin is driven to axially move down to enable a seat post to make fine adjustment, stepless adjustment or stepped adjustment in height. Moreover, the seat post may self-return to the assigned position (an upper position, a middle position or a lower position) to prevent the height of the seat from altering.
Abstract:
A direction restricting device, for the inner and outer tubes of a bicycle seat post, includes at least one axial groove arranged on the wall of one of the tubes, and a direction restricting element fastened to the other tube at the position relative to the axial groove wall. The direction restricting element may be inserted into the axial groove and at least includes an elastic slider provided with an axial opening in the middle. The direction restricting element may be inserted into the axial groove to enable the axial outer walls of the direction restricting element to engage with the axial inner walls of the axial groove to eliminate the interspace between the slider and the axial groove to prevent deflection and wobbling and to reinforce the steadiness of both tubes when the inner and outer tubes rotate relative to each other.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a direction restricting device for the inner and outer tubes of a bicycle seat post, comprising at least one axial groove arranged on the wall of one of the tubes, and a direction restricting element fastened to the other tube at the position relative to the axial groove wall; said direction restricting element may be inserted into the axial groove and at least includes an elastic slider provided with an axial opening in the middle; the direction restricting element may be inserted into the axial groove so as to enable the axial outer walls of the direction restricting element to attach to the axial inner walls of the axial groove to eliminate the interspace between the slider and the axial groove to prevent from deflection and wobbling and to reinforce the steadiness of both tubes when the inner and outer tubes rotate relative to each other.
Abstract:
A suspension device of a bicycle front fork is installed in a head tube of a bicycle handlebar. The suspension device includes: a cylinder with a bottom fixed to a base of the bicycle front fork and a top passed into the head tube; a piston rod with a top fixed to an inner wall of the head tube and a bottom having a piston and extended into the cylinder; a spring device coupled to the piston rod and having a force to push the piston rod away from the cylinder. The cylinder below the piston has an air chamber communicated with an intake valve of the base. The air pressure of air chamber may be adjusted to adjust the buffering pressure of the spring device, so that a user may adjust the shocking pressure of the front fork.
Abstract:
A height adjusting device for a bicycle seat post provides an up-down adjust unit. All the oil-flow control elements of the height adjusting device are arranged inside the up-down adjust unit. The oil flows between the valve port and the oil-block plate are blocked by both the oil-block plate and the valve port touching tightly in an up-down engaging manner. By the structure, what repairing the oil-flow control elements needs is to replace the up-down adjust unit when the oil-flow control elements are out of work. Therefore, it is convenient to repair and assemble. The valve port and the oil-block plate are arranged up and down so that they may touch each other closely in surfaces engaging. Thus, it provides good oil-blocking effects. Besides, the oil-block plate receives no shear stress occurring in the prior art generated from suddenly pressing down the seat. Therefore, it has a long service life.
Abstract:
A control unit for height adjustment of a bicycle seat post mainly includes a body, a controlling arm, and a pivot pin connecting the body and the controlling arm. Besides, a controlling wire is used to control a height adjustment device of the bicycle seat post to work or stop. The control unit of the present invention requires fewer assemblies and it is easy to be assembled.
Abstract:
A control mechanism of the adjustable seat post for a bicycle is fixed to the bottom end of the lower outer tube of the seat post. The control mechanism is managed by a controlling wire to drive a pin within the seat post to move axially to adjust the position of the seat post supporting the seat, so that the controlling wire will not move up and down with the seat post for seat height adjustments. Thus, the control mechanism will not generate a residual wire occurring in a prior art seat height adjusting device. It is because the controlling wire of the prior art device is disposed to the top end of the seat post. Therefore, the drawback of a prior art device can be ameliorated by arranging the control mechanism to the bottom end of the lower outer tube of the seat post.
