摘要: Disclosed is an electrochemical cell in the form of a bag (1.1), constituting an electric battery (1), which comprises a sensor (2) fixed to the outside surface of the bag (1.1) and comprising: at least one sensing element (2.1.1, 2.1.2); at least one conducting element (3); and, optionally, at least one resistor element (2.2), the conducting element (3) connecting the sensing element (2.1) and/or the resistor element (2.2) together, wherein the sensing element, the conducting element (3) and/or the resistor element (2.2) are respectively obtained by separately depositing portions of material of the sensing element, of the conducting element (3) or of the resistor element (2.2) on the outside of the bag (1.1). Also disclosed is a battery comprising at least one electrochemical cell in the form of a bag (1.1).

摘要: According to the techniques herein, one or more sensors coupled to an aligner are used to sense one or more physical qualities of the aligner to determine whether the physical qualities indicate that the aligner material has relaxed and has, e.g., reduced the force systems applied to teeth and/or that the teeth movement for the stage has slowed down. The sensors may provide a signal that represents whether or not the physical qualities fall below a threshold value. A treatment plan may be modified if needed. These techniques have the potential to make treatment plans faster and more effective by speeding up some stages while making sure some, perhaps other, stages are implemented only after the teeth are near the appropriate position.

摘要: Strain sensors are attached to a workpiece, and resistance values of the strain sensors are measured with time while cutting the workpiece with a milling cutting machine. A power spectrum in a frequency domain is obtained by Fourier-transforming the resistance values measured with time. A power peak is found in the power spectrum to be outputted as a magnitude of vibration occurring during machining the workpiece. By attaching a strain sensor to a stamper of a plastic working machine, a resistance value of the strain sensor is measured while pressing a workpiece on a die with the stamper. A magnitude of the strain corresponding to the measured resistance value is used to obtain a corresponding plastic working force. By attaching the strain sensor directly to the workpiece, it is possible to monitor the state of the plastic working and/or cutting process of the workpiece with high precision at low cost.

摘要: A device for detecting wear of a wear member composed of electrically resistive material. The wear member comprises at least two electrodes separated from each other, where each electrode overlies, or is embedded in, an outer surface of the electrically resistive material. One of the electrodes is connected to a resistor at a measurement node to form a resistive voltage divider. A voltage measurement device measures a change in voltage at the measurement node, where the change is voltage is indicative of the degree of removal of resistive material from a face of the wear member and where the change in voltage is continuously variable and not limited to discrete wear levels.
