    摘要: A positioning system for radiation therapy comprises a patient positioner drive unit for moving a patient positioner supporting a patient, a snout drive unit for rotating a snout including a collimator set therein, and a processing unit for controlling the snout drive unit and the patient positioner drive unit such that the positioning of the patient is performed by moving the patient positioner supporting the patient after the positioning of the collimator has been performed by rotating the snout including the collimator set therein. Exposure of the patient to X-rays irradiated for the positioning can be reduced.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to easily maintain the couch positioning accuracy and reduce the couch positioning time while resolving the complexity of input operations by the operator at the time of couch positioning. To accomplish the above object, calculation points are set to a CT image at the time of treatment planning, and the 3D coordinates of the set calculation point are set to a DRR image. When a couch positioning unit 115 loads the DRR image from an image server 109, it reads the coordinates of calculation points set to the DRR image and displays them on the monitor 116 together with the DRR image. Further, when DR image data is loaded into the couch positioning unit 115, the DR image is displayed on the monitor 116 and calculation points set to the DRR image are set also to the DR image.

    摘要: A radiotherapy system achieves highly-accurate respiratory-gated irradiation with less x-ray exposure by performing x-ray imaging only during the respiratory phases that are necessary for the respiratory-gated irradiation. An external respiration monitor 300 externally monitors an external respiratory index of a patient. An x-ray source 200 and an x-ray detector 210, or internal-respiration observation devices, acquire x-ray images of the patient and monitor an internal respiratory index of the patient using the positions of internal body structures indicated by the acquired x-ray images. An x-ray imaging gating device 310 gates the x-ray imaging performed by the internal-respiration observation devices with the use of the external respiratory index such that the x-ray imaging is performed while the external respiratory index is within a predetermined range. An irradiation gating device 410 gates the irradiation of a treatment beam with the use of the internal respiratory index.
