    摘要: The fuel cap includes an outer cap as an outer envelope. The fuel cap includes an inner cap removably fitted in the outer cap through an opening of the outer cap. The fuel cap includes a canister located in a space between the outer cap and the inner cap for adsorbing a vaporized fuel. The fuel cap closes a fuel filler port for feeding a fuel to a fuel tank. The canister adsorbs a vaporized fuel vaporized from the fuel in the fuel tank. At least one of the outer cap and the inner cap defines a communication hole communicating with the space and an exterior. The canister includes a housing; and an adsorbent accommodated in the housing. The housing defines, on an end surface directed to the inner cap, an inlet for a vaporized fuel to flow into the inlet. The housing defines, on another end surface directed to the outer cap, an outlet for a gas, from which the vaporized fuel has been absorbed, to flow out of the outlet. An inner surface of the outer cap and said another end surface of the inner cap having a clearance securement member interposed therebetween and located proximate to the outlet, the spacer securing a clearance between the inner surface of the outer cap and said another end surface of the inner cap.

    摘要: There is prevented reduction in volume of a chamber, by which an activated charcoal layer for a canister is divided into sections. [MEANS TO SOLVE THE SUBJECT] In a canister, an activated charcoal layer is placed in a fluid passage by which an air intake port is connected to a charge port or purge port, and a chamber dividing the charcoal layer into sections so as to traverse the fuel passage is defined by a grid and a filter pad placed on the surface of the grid. The grid has apertures uniformly formed on the surface of the grid contacting with the filter pad, so as to communicate with the chamber. Formation of the apertures on the surface of the grid prevents the filter pad from coming into the mesh of the grid, thus maintaining flatness of the filter pad. The original volume of the chamber can be maintained, so as to enable the fuel from the fuel tank to be absorbed effectively by the first and second layers of the charcoal layer, thus preventing the fuel from being released into the air. The fuel with an appropriate concentration can be supplied when the fuel is sucked by an engine.

    摘要: A canister having a liquefied fuel treating function capable of flexibly coping with layout restrictions without the need to bend the purging path in the middle. The canister having the liquefied fuel treating function includes a liquid storing case having an introducing path communicating with a fuel tank, and a purging path communicating with air inlet pipes of an engine; and a sucking path, provided in the liquid storing case, and sucking the liquefied fuel stored in the liquid storing case; which sucks up the liquefied fuel onto the purging path side by use of the flow of a fluid through the purging path; wherein the sucking direction of the liquefied fuel within the sucking path is caused to substantially agree with the flow direction of the fluid in the purging path. It is therefore possible to cope even with a case where the purging path extending upward must be provided on the ceiling surface of the canister having the liquefied fuel treating function because of the restrictions in layout, without the need to bend the purging path, by extending the purging path upward as it is in parallel with the sucking path.

    摘要: An oil mist filter capable of removing oil mist and separating liquids of low viscosity. A filter section in the oil mist filter is of two-stage construction. The filter section includes a filter body disposed in the upper stage for arresting oil mist and a support body disposed in the lower stage to support the filter body and capable of separating gas fuel. A space is defined below the filter body. When passing through the filter body the oil mist in the gas fuel is arrested by the filter body. The liquid content in the gas fuel is collected below the filter body in the upper stage, and then moves under its own weight along the support body in the lower stage until it is collected in the space. The gas fuel having its liquid content removed is passed through the support body and fed to the engine.
