摘要： An MFP (Multifunction Peripheral) receives, from a remote terminal, information on a first operation to request the MFP to execute processing. The MFP transmits, to the remote terminal, information on a screen in accordance with the information on the first operation, and receives, from the remote terminal, a report that a screen in accordance with the transmitted information is displayed on the remote terminal. The MFP receives, from the remote terminal, information on a second operation to request the MFP to execute processing, after receipt of the information on the first operation and before receipt of the report, and decides whether to execute or cancel the processing in accordance with the information on the second operation, depending on the type of the information on the second operation.

The control unit performs determination processing for determining whether a time period required for the processing requested to be performed is predictable or not, provides animation display by continuously displaying two or more windows relating to the processing when it is determined that the time period required for the processing is predictable, and provides pop-up display by displaying one window relating to the processing when it is determined that the time period required for the processing is not predictable.

摘要： An image processing apparatus comprising: a display; a controller that displays or hides a function button for use of a function on a display screen on the display according to one or more than one pattern information object indicating the setting whether to display or hide the function button on the display screen; a firmware updater that updates firmware; and a comparator that compares the old and new firmware in terms of the functions installed thereon, and wherein, if the comparison result drawn by the comparator indicates that a new function is added due to the firmware update, the controller displays or hides a first function button for use of the new function according to pattern information for a second function button for use of a function on a higher layer than the new function or pattern information for a group including the second function button.

摘要： The present invention is intended to improve operability of an image processing device by reading a document with multiple pages at a time, changing a page addressed to each destination, and transmitting the page to each destination. In order to achieve this, an image processing device 1 for example comprises: a scanner unit 2 for reading a document with multiple pages and for generating image data; a destination setting part 52 for setting a plurality of destinations to which the image data generated by the scanner unit 2 are addressed; a transmission page setting part 53 for selecting at least one page addressed to each of the plurality of destinations from the multiple pages for which the image data are generated by the scanner unit 2, and for setting the selected page as a transmission page addressed to each destination; a file creation part 54 for creating a transmission file containing the image data of the selected page to be transmitted to each destination based on the transmission page set for each destination by the transmission page setting part 53; and a file transmission part 55 for individually transmitting the transmission file created by the file creation part 54 to each destination.
