摘要： A communication device for receiving a signal in the form of a series of bursts, each burst being in one of a plurality of different available transmission modes, the communication device comprising: a receiver unit coupled to a single antenna operable to receive bursts in first and second polarizations, the receiver unit preferentially receiving signals in a selected polarization; a selection unit for selecting for each received burst in which polarization the receiver unit is to preferentially receive signals; and a signal analysis unit for analyzing each received burst to determine whether it meets a predetermined reception quality criterion; wherein the signal analysis unit is arranged to control the selection unit to: if a burst is to be received with a certain transmission mode and the last burst received with that transmission mode was received above the reception quality criterion, preferentially receive the burst in the same polarization in which the last burst was received; and if a burst is to be received with a certain transmission mode and the last burst received with that transmission mode was received below the reception quality criterion, preferentially receive the burst in a different polarization from that in which the last burst was received.

摘要： Enclosures for electronic components and methods for manufacturing the same are shown. In one embodiment, the enclosure includes a first sidewall, a second sidewall, a third sidewall, and a fourth sidewall defining an interior space of the enclosure. A first mounting channel and a second mounting channel can be coupled to each one of the first sidewall, the second sidewall, the third sidewall, and the fourth sidewall. A side channel can be removably coupled to the first mounting channel and the second mounting channel. A mounting panel can be removably coupled to the side channel, the mounting panel providing a flat surface extending away from the side channel towards a sidewall opposite a sidewall nearest the side channel and adapted to support electronic components.

摘要： A system and method are provided for applying guidelines to data and providing self-assessment ability. Guideline data is stored in a data storage component, along with user data. The user data represents both quantitative data and qualitative self-assessment data. In a self-assessment system and method, a graphical user interface is provided along with a target image and factor icons. The icons are adapted to be moved onto a position on the target image representative of an entity's self assessment of performance relative to the corresponding factor. A subset of actionable alternatives are selected and displayed based on the self-assessment data and the guidelines.
