摘要： A method for preparing Kava root involves a multi-stage grinding process to give a resulting very small particle size. Because Kava root is fibrous, and tends to catch fire when ground extremely small, an ambient nitrogen atmosphere is provided during one or more stages of the grinding process to prevent combustion. The resultant very finely ground Kava powder is preferably mixed with other materials, such as ascorbic acid and other food-grade acids, to remove the objectionable taste.

摘要： An antiperspirant formulation containing an extract from the aloe vera plant that prevents irritation in most persons sensitive to the metallic salts in common use as antiperspirants. A basic formulation consists of a 50% aqueous metallic salt astringent solution of 85 parts by weight and the natural gel of aloe vera of 15 parts by weight. The preferred metallic salt is aluminum chlorohydroxide. The salt may be combined with various other anti-microbial agents, drying agents, fragrances and the like with aloe vera extracts either in the natural gel form or as aloe extract oil to provide formulations for manual or aerosol sprays, roll-ons, creams and the like. The antiperspirant of the invention permit use by most persons formerly unable to tolerate many antiperspirants due to irritation of the skin.

摘要： An electronically lighted bow sight is provided which may be attached to conventional bows. The bow sight includes a main body having a circular passageway in which are located multiple sight pins. The main body may be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The ends of the sight pins are illuminated by an archer turning a knob at the top of the main body of the bow sight. A battery powered LED illuminates a plurality of fiber optic elements extending down to the ends of the sight pins. The fiber optic elements are different colors to help the archer distinguish the sight pins.
