    摘要: A liquid level detecting apparatus resistant to the deterioration and corrosion thereof is provided while holding down an increase in the manufacturing cost thereof. This apparatus 1 has fixed electrodes 3 on which a sliding contact point 5 is slidingly moved in accordance with a fluctuation of a float, and a first resistor 4 connected to the fixed electrodes 3, the fixed electrodes 3 being made of at least silver (Ag), palladium (Pd) and a glass component, a weight ratio of the silver (Ag) to palladium (Pd) being not lower than 75 wt. % to not higher than 25 wt. %, a sliding portion 7 of the fixed electrodes 3 on which the sliding contact point 5 is slidingly moved being covered with second resistors 8 a resistance value of which is lower than that of the first resistor 4.

    摘要: A pair of radial tires consist of two tires each having a tread comprising annular land portions formed by a plurality of circumferential main grooves extending in the circumferential direction of the tire, and rows of blocks formed by extending transverse main grooves inclinedly in the circumferential direction in at least land portions located at axially opposite side edge portions of the tire. Tread patterns of these two tires are asymmetrical and have directional property. Transverse main grooves of each of the tires, which define the rows of the blocks to be located axially inside, are extended inclinedly downwardly toward the inner side of the tread in the width direction as viewed from the front side of the tire. Each of the transverse main grooves of the tire, which define the row of the blocks located axially on the outer side is extended in an almost inverse V-letter shape as viewed from the front side of the tire.

    摘要: A pneumatic radial tire for high-speed running vehicles has a directional tread pattern defined by one or two relatively wide circumferential grooves arranged in the central region and plural slant grooves arranged in each side region of the tread, and an aspect ratio of not more than 0.8. In this tire, the slant grooves are arranged in a herringbone form with respect to the equator without communicating with the circumferential groove, each of which extending from an initial end to a terminal end and being a folded line at a folding point corresponding to 0.3-0.45 times of the tread width that an inclination angle .alpha. of line segment inward from the folding point is 40.degree.-85.degree. with respect to the meridian of the tire and an inclination angle .beta. of line segment outward from the folding point is smaller than the inclination angle .alpha. and 0.degree.-50.degree. with respect to the meridian of the tire.

    摘要: This invention relates to a channel selector suitable for use in a television receiver set. The channel selector comprises a channel selecting shaft which is linked to a variable capacitor shaft through an Oldham coupler. A fine tuning shaft also is linked to the variable capacitor shaft through a coupler incorporating an incremental detent arrangement.Selection of a channel is made by turning the channel selection shaft to move the variable capacitor shaft by a suitable angle (for instance, about 2.degree.). When the channel selection shaft is turned by such an amount, the coupler slips so as to allow the variable capacitor shaft to turn independently of the fine tuning means. Once a channel is selected, fine tuning is made by slightly turning (for instance, within 0.3.degree.) the fine tuning shaft to correspondingly rotate the shaft of the variable capacitor.The channel selector also comprises means for memorizing the results of the fine adjustments for individual channels. The memory means includes several memory cams, each of which memorizes result of adjustment for several neighboring channels. By so designing the arrangement that each of the memory cams serves to memorize the fine tunings commonly for several channels, the memory means can be made compact and simple.
