摘要： A skin whitening composition and a method for the same are provided. The skin whitening composition comprises a far-infrared ray releasing substance having a primary component of an oxide mineral, wherein the skin whitening composition achieves a whitening effect via an irradiation of the far-infrared ray releasing substance. In another aspect, the method comprises the steps of administering a far-infrared ray releasing substance to a subject and reducing melanogenesis of the subject by inhibiting growth of a pigment cell, wherein the far-infrared releasing substance has an oxide mineral.
