摘要： A tubular running tool equipped with a mandrel having an elongated body with a longitudinal axis. The mandrel is configured with a plurality of offset stepped ramps. A plurality of slips are disposed on the mandrel with stepped ramps configured for complementary engagement with the mandrel offset ramps. The mandrel is configured for actuation to urge the slips radially outward for engagement of a gripping portion on the slips with an inner surface of a tubular. A method using the tool for running a tubular and providing a makeup torque.
