摘要： An envelope (100) detector for detecting a modulation envelope of a modulated signal. The envelope detector includes a sensor (102). The sensor has a sensor input (1021), for sensing a signal forming a measure for the amount of electrical power presented at the sensor input (1021). The sensor input (1021) is electrically conducting connectable to an electrical path (14), along which electrical path (14) the modulated signal is transmitted. The detector (100) includes a filter (103) for removing from the sensed signal a part contributed to non-envelope signal components in the modulated signal; and a detector output (104) connected to the filter (103) for outputting an envelope signal.

摘要： The invention proposes an H-plane filter with inductive irises which exhibits a quasi-elliptic response while retaining the same compactness as a filter having a Chebyshev response. The invention furthermore makes it possible to use a large number of transmission zeros. For this purpose, there is proposed a waveguide filter comprising at least one cavity delimited by at least two inductive irises. The filter furthermore comprises at least one floating insert 1 placed in one of the inductive irises. The invention is also a process for manufacturing the waveguide filter incorporating at least one insert.

摘要： A radio frequency device comprises a radio frequency (RF) power amplifier (PA) operably coupled to a protection circuit for minimising voltage standing wave ratio effects, wherein the protection circuit comprises a current limiter indexed to a power supplied to the RF PA.In this manner, the protection circuit combines detection of both current and voltage increase in order to provide a direct feedback on the final RF PA stage via a bias control.
