The probe includes physiological sensors and an optical display including light emitting diodes on a circumferential surface. Data storage and transmission capability is contained in a docking station associated with the probe. Data can be transmitted to a remote location for analysis and/or display.

    Abstract: An internally illuminated frame for a bicycle or alternatively, a complete bicycle is disclosed. The bicycle comprises at least one frame tube made from a translucent material and containing individually illuminable lighting elements. The complete bicycle includes a controller operable to control individual ones of the lighting elements, a battery, brake lights, a head piece including a display screen, a user interface, an audio speaker, and optionally, forward facing lighting elements. The controller is programmable to control the lighting elements and the audio speaker from stored programming. Programming may be provided wirelessly or by hard wired connection.

    Abstract: A bicycle frame joint accommodating internal cabling is shown and described. The joint includes an internal passage joining at least two frame tube receiving sockets. The internal passage can receive cables and lighting strips, enabling a circuit or lighting strip to extend along a plurality of frame tubes, and to pass through joints between adjacent frame tubes, to promote circuit continuity. Some bicycle frame joints may have internal passages bypassing some sockets, enabling a continuous circuit to bypass an intervening frame tube.

    Abstract: A system for capturing aspects of emotions in real time, and distributes associated data is shown and described. Each monitored subject wears on the body apparatus providing easy entry of data, such as via pushbuttons, one to identify a particular emotion being reported, and a second to report perceived intensity of the emotion. Pushbutton inputs are transmitted as data wirelessly, first to a cellular phone of each subject, and then to a central station. One or more authorized analysts may access the data, sent secured by block chain protocol and presented anonymously as avatars. Optionally, in addition to or instead of transmission of data to a human therapist, data may be transmitted to a remote self-help assistant, such as a downloaded program on a computer or stored on the cellular phone.

    Abstract: A method producing a dynamic single dimensional output image from a two dimensional image is disclosed. A camera captures a digital image. In the method, each row of pixels of the input image may be read progressively to generate lighting instructions corresponding to each row. The instructions are sent to e.g. programmable LEDs. The process continues with a first row of pixels from the input image being processed first, followed by processing of a subsequent row of pixels of the input image. Upon processing of the second row of pixels, LEDs of the LED strip are illuminated correspondingly. This process continues iteratively until the final row of pixels of the input image. If the imaged object varies visually from one side to another or from top down, the LEDs illuminated by processing of each row of pixels will vary, thereby generating a dynamic image.
