摘要： An automated reconciliation system that permits instantaneous reconciliation of unsold product units. A pull tab, which contains hidden reconciliation data is affixed to a product unit. To reconcile the particular product unit, a vendor removes the pull tab strip thereby defacing and destroying the product unit to expose the reconciliation data needed for entry into a central computer system. Alternatively, concealed reconciliation data may be printed directly on the product or its packaging in a fashion which requires the product to be opened to expose the reconciliation data. Such an opened condition, with a broken seal or opened wrapping, renders the product unsaleable. The automated reconciliation system ensures that unsold product units which receive reconciliation credit and reimbursement are not fraudulently resold.

摘要： A convertible sidearm is provided which can convert easily between a firearm and a knife. The convertible sidearm includes a tubular body frame. A back plate member assembly is removably affixed to the tubular body at one end. The back plate assembly includes a plate member and a substantially tubular support member emanating outwardly from a planar surface of the plate member. A standard bolt or bolt carrier assembly from a primary firearm, having a bolt and a firing pin connected thereto, is inserted into the tubular support member of the back plate member assembly. A spring-loaded striker is positioned proximal to a firing pin within the bolt carrier assembly. A trigger communicates with the spring-loaded striker to release the striker toward the firing pin to fire the weapon. The firearm is easily converted to a knife by removing the barrel of the firearm and replacing it with a blade assembly and removing the bolt carrier assembly from the back plate member assembly and re-installing the back plate member within the tubular body member. Alternatively, the convertible sidearm may employ a permanent firing mechanism instead of a removable bolt or bolt carrier.

摘要： A card camera with a compact configuration and that may use standard 35 mm film is disclosed. The camera includes a front panel and a rear panel positioned substantially parallel and co-extensive to the front panel. A band of resilient material extends approximately from the outer edge of the front panel to the outer edge of the rear panel. The rear panel is controllably movable relative to the front panel. An outer housing sheet member includes a number of strut members extending therefrom. The outer housing sheet member is affixed to the exterior side of the front panel. The strut members engageable with the rear panel to fix the rear panel a distance away from the front panel to obtain the proper focal length. A light-sensitive medium, such as photographic film, is positioned therein. A shutter controls the light imparted to the light-sensitive medium. The light-sensitive medium is exposed to a scene through the lens. The light-sensitive medium may be separate individually stacked photographic film frames, a fan folded photographic film strip or individual film frames residing on a film carrier web. When individual frames are used, they may be assembled into a continuous strip configuration for development using standard photographic equipment.

摘要： The collapsible camera includes a base panel with a segmented panel connected thereto. The base panel carries light sensitive media, such as photographic film, and includes a light exposure region. The segmented panel carries a lens thereon. One end of the segmented panel is anchored to one end edge of the base panel. The opposing end of the segmented panel is slidably connected to the base panel. Upon sliding of the movable end of the segmented panel toward the anchored end, the segmented panel is erected thus positioning the lens to the proper focal length from the light sensitive media in preparation for taking a picture. Light blocking material surrounds the region between the lens and the light sensitive media.

摘要： A photographic film cartridge for a camera with a compact configuration and that may use standard 35 mm film is disclosed. A light-sensitive medium, such as photographic film, is positioned therein. The light-sensitive medium may be separate individually stacked photographic film frames, a fan folded photographic film strip or individual film frames residing on a film carrier web. When individual frames are used, they may be assembled into a continuous strip configuration for development using standard photographic equipment. The cartridge includes a housing with a light exposure window and an exposure region in front of said light exposure window and a storage region not in front of said light exposure region. Opaque material is provided to block passage of light through said light exposure window in a closed position while permitting passage of light through said light exposure window in an open position. The opaque material is movable between an open position and a closed position. The cartridge further includes a film support track where a stack of photographic film is positionable in front of the light exposure window for exposure of the film with the stack of photographic film being movable between the exposure region and the storage region.
