摘要： A transporter apparatus for movement of plastic blister members to a conveyor for processing, i.e., for receiving an article in a pocket of the same and a backing card for closing the pocket opening and enclosing the article therein, includes a frame for supporting an assembly having a carriage movable in the vertical direction and a plurality of transfer rods supported by the carriage. The transfer rods are disposed in a horizontal attitude and divergent outwardly from a pick-up zone of blister members to the conveyor. Transfer devices including structure for "gripping" the blister members are supported by the transfer rods. The transfer devices are connected to a pair of transfer arms and driven along the transfer rods as the transfer arms are themselves driven. A drive mechanism including mechanical actuators impart movement to both the carriage and the transfer devices upon control signals to the drive mechanism.

摘要： A clip assembly for an elongated instrument which includes a base portion, a resilient elongated member extending from the base portion and means extending from the base portion dimensioned for insertion into an aperture defined by the elongated instrument for snap-locking engagement therewith and attachment of the base portion thereto. In its preferred form the elongated instrument is a pen which includes a body member having a reservoir of writing medium and a writing tip, a cap member configured and dimensioned for mating engagement with the body member; and a clip. The clip includes a base portion, a resilient elongated member extending from the base portion; and means extending from the base portion configured and dimensioned for insertion into an aperture defined by the body or cap member of the writing instrument for snap-locking engagement therewith and attachment of the base portion thereto. The base portion and resilient elongated member are configured and dimensioned such that attachment of the base portion to the body or cap member of the writing instrument will retain the elongated member in generally parallel and sufficiently close proximity to the writing instrument for attachment of the writing instrument to wearing apparel or the like.

摘要： A lighter of the disposable type is disclosed for burning a fuel such as butane contained in a body member which defines an internal fuel chamber having an opening through which the fuel may pass and including a dual action valve which controls the flow of gaseous butane fuel to a burner in either of two modes. The first mode includes an "on/off" fuel control lever; the second mode includes a variable fuel flow control member which determines the height of the flame produced at an output orifice of a burner by a sparking wheel and sparking flint by controlling the amount of fuel passed therethrough as a function of the rotational position of a rotatable control member. The lighter further comprises novel means to pre-determine the height range of the flame thus produced, by limiting the rotational range of travel of the flame height control member.
