摘要： A pan-tilt camera is arranged to include a camera head, a stationary unit, an intermediate member arranged between the camera head and the stationary unit, a first rotary joint rotatably connecting the camera head to the intermediate member, and a second rotary joint, rotatably connecting the intermediate member to the stationary unit. A communication path is provided between the camera head and the stationary unit, including an optical waveguide arranged between the camera head and the stationary unit. The optical waveguide has a first end positioned at the first rotary joint to receive light from the camera head through the first rotary joint. The other end of the waveguide is positioned at the second rotary joint and is arranged to send light to the stationary unit through the second rotary joint.

摘要： A method for connecting a storage device to an information generating device includes transferring an identifying message from the storage device to a control server via a computer network. The identifying message includes a unique identifier uniquely identifying the storage device, matching a registered information generating system to the unique identifier, and identifying at least one information generating device included in the matched information generating system. A configuration message is transferred from the control server to the storage device, and the configuration message includes an address to the identified at least one information generating device and instructions of interaction. The instructions of interaction are arranged to define how the transfer of generated information is to be performed.

摘要： A method and apparatus is disclosed for providing a range of location dependent information and services to users of wireless devices coupled to the multi-point wireless access network of the current invention.In an embodiment of the invention a multi-point wireless access network for servicing wireless devices is provided. The multi-point wireless access network includes: wireless access devices, an inventory map and a server. The wireless access points are arrayed in a coordinate system with a known relative relationship to one another. Each of the wireless access points provides communication capabilities for corresponding proximate ones of the wireless devices. The inventory map correlates selected ones of the wireless access points with corresponding inventory located proximate to each of the selected ones of the wireless access points. The server couples to the wireless access points and to the inventory map, and the server correlates each access to the multi-point wireless access network from a corresponding wireless device with the corresponding inventory from the inventory map to provide at least one of location dependant information and location dependant services to the corresponding wireless device.
