摘要: Cryptographic techniques are provided for generating, distributing, validation, and processing secure commands on different devices and/or peripherals. A control device generates and encrypts a key corresponding to a secure command using a private key of control device to produce a key envelope. Control device further encrypts the key envelope with a recipient's public key producing a recipient envelope. The recipient envelope is delivered to a recipient's device. The recipient's device decrypts the recipient envelope with a private key of the recipient's device producing the key envelope. The key envelope is delivered back to the control device. The control device decrypts the key envelope producing the key, validates the key, and processes a secure command on behalf of a secure resource or delivers the secure command to the secure resource for processing. In an embodiment, control device maintains audit records/audit trail, which is maintained on the control device.

摘要: Some embodiments are directed to a lockdown apparatus for facilitating initiation of lockdown procedures at a facility that includes multiple doors and is configured for occupation by facility occupants. A lockdown actuator is disposed at the facility and configured to initiate transmission of a lockdown initiation signal upon being actuated, the lockdown actuator being configured to be recognizably distinguishable from the fire alarm actuator. A lockdown communicator is configured to produce a lockdown initiation communication for communicating initiation of lockdown procedures to the facility occupants and individuals not disposed proximate the facility upon transmission of the lockdown initiation signal, the lockdown initiation communication being recognizably distinguishable from the fire alarm communication. A display is configured to indicate status of each of the multiple doors of the facility upon transmission of the lockdown initiation signal, the status including at least one of open versus closed, and locked versus unlocked.

摘要: Methods and enhanced apparatus used in such methods are described that a dispatched logistics operation for a deliverable item from a hold-at-location (HAL) logistics facility having a secured storage and using a modular autonomous bot apparatus assembly and a dispatch server. The bot apparatus assembly picks up and delivers the item from the HAL facility in response to a delivery dispatch command from the dispatch server. In response, the MAM of the bot verifies compatibility of modular components for the operation, controls receiving of the deliverable item from the secured storage at the HAL facility, then autonomously causes movement to the delivery destination. The MAM notifies the customer before delivery of the approaching delivery, authenticates delivery is to the authorized customer, provides access to the item within the bot apparatus assembly, monitors unloading of the item, then autonomously moves back to the HAL facility.

摘要: A lock system includes a mount, a lock device, a sensor, and a communications interface. The mount configured to be coupled to a first surface located at a wall, the wall defining an opening in which a translatable structure is positioned, the mount including an engagement feature. The lock device configured to couple to a second surface located at the wall and proximate the first surface and includes a locking mechanism configured to engage with the engagement feature to inhibit the translatable structure from translating between open and closed positions. The communications interface configured to communicate signals to cause a controller configured to actuate the locking mechanism to switch between the locked state and the unlocked state to engage and disengage with the engagement feature of the stationary mount in response to the sensor sensing that the locking mechanism and the engagement feature are engageably aligned.

摘要: A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units and a control panel. The gunshot sensor units generate audio data and encrypt the audio data using an encryption key before storing the audio data and/or sending it to the control panel. The control panel decrypts received encrypted audio data using a decryption key. The encryption keys might be programmed at the control panel and distributed to the gunshot sensor units. The control panel would also store decryption keys for decrypting the audio data from each of the different gunshot sensor units. An additional layer of end-to-end encryption is provided for messages exchanged between the devices. The gunshot sensor units can also be equipped with wireless interfaces for communicating with the control panel over a communication network. To address potential bandwidth issues, the gunshot sensor units determine current network conditions and compress the audio data based on the current network conditions.

摘要: According to a first aspect, it is provided a method for requesting access to a physical space secured by a lock. The method is performed in a mobile device of a user and comprises the steps of: authenticating the mobile device with an authentication server, resulting in a token, being a data item, indicating one or more access groups to which the user belongs, wherein the token is cryptographically signed by the authentication server; storing the token in the mobile device; obtain a lock identifier of the lock; and transmitting an access request to an access control device, the access request comprising the token and the lock identifier.
