    摘要： A method of synchronizing broadcast contents between a broadcast recorder and a portable content player and an apparatus for the same are disclosed. The broadcast content synchronizing method includes obtaining metadata about broadcast contents stored in a portable content player from the portable content player; confirming a broadcast content that has already been reproduced among the broadcast contents stored in the portable content player by the obtained metadata; retrieving a broadcast content corresponding to the next installment of the confirmed broadcast content from recorded broadcast contents; and storing the retrieved broadcast content in the portable content player.

    摘要： Provided are method of storing broadcast contents, a method of displaying stored broadcast contents and an apparatus therefor. In method of storing the broadcast contents by analyzing the received broadcast contents, grouping the contents that are similar to each other, and arranging the contents sequentially in time, the method includes classifying a broadcasting signal received from an external broadcast contents provider into an unit segment of a first item, determining at least one keyword representing the first item that is classified into the unit segment, storing the first item as a sub-ordinate item of a first sub contents group according to the determined keywords, and arranging the first sub contents group including the stored first item sequentially in time, so that the progress of specific broadcast contents can be easily identified by each time slot.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for managing contents distributed on a home network are provided. The distributed content management apparatus includes: a content information database processor which aggregates information regarding contents stored in at least one content reproducing apparatus and creates or updates an integrated content information database; and a synchronization processor which performs content synchronization to synchronize the information regarding the contents stored in the content reproducing apparatus with contents defined in a synchronization list set by a user, using the integrated content information database. The apparatus further includes a content change information receiver which receives changed contents from the content reproducing apparatus if contents information stored in a content reproducing apparatus changes; and a content information database updating unit which updates the integrated content information database to reflect the changed contents.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for synchronizing multimedia content with a client device which supports a multi-server environment are provided. The server includes a synchronization policy management unit which acquires a synchronization policy; a synchronization information collector which collects log information of a previously performed synchronization and of a change occurring after the previously performed synchronization; a synchronization processor which performs synchronization in accordance with the collected log information; a change log management unit which stores a result of the synchronization; an interface unit which transmits the log information; and a storage unit which stores the multimedia content and the meta data of the multimedia content. The method includes acquiring a synchronization policy; collecting log information of a previous synchronization; performing synchronization with the client based on the collected log information; storing a result of the synchronization in the log information.
