On the basis of either one of these two bits, a frequency variable range is selected as either a frequency variable range between a frequency f1 and a frequency f2, a frequency variable range between a frequency f2 and a frequency f3 (the frequency f3 is the highest, the frequency f2 the second highest, and the frequency f1 the lowest of these three frequencies). On the basis of the other bit, it is selected whether a frequency is swept to a higher frequency or to a lower frequency within the frequency variable range selected by the one of the two bits.

The control unit controls the reference oscillation unit, the phase comparing unit and the digital value storage unit to be started or stopped, and also switches the control voltage to the phase difference signal or to the hold signal.

    摘要: A correlator (i.e., a despreading filter) and an ultrawideband radio receiving apparatus that incorporates the correlator are provided. In one embodiment, a correlator multiplies a plurality of output signals output by a plurality of delay elements that are series-connected by a predetermined coefficient of either +1 or −1 and then sums the plurality of output signals, the delay element including a delay line and an amplifier; the delay line being configured by serially connecting a plurality of delay-line elements, each of the delay-line elements being a low pass filter that has an inductor and a capacitor; the amplifier being connected to an output of a last-stage delay-line element of the series-connected delay-line elements so as to perform impedance matching with respect to the delay line; an output of the amplifier being connected to a subsequent circuit so as to perform impedance matching with respect to the subsequent circuit, such that a loss of the delay line is compensated for and an output voltage of the delay element is made equal to an input voltage of the delay element.

    摘要: In a controlling communication device, parameter of a device mounted in an airframe is modified remotely from a transmitting side without a personal computer or a dedicated setting box. The communication device is operable to select an operation mode and a parameter mode, and includes a controlling communication device (a transmitter) having a display, a controlled body communication device (a receiver) connected to a device mounted in the airframe. In the parameter mode, the parameter signal is transmitted to the receiver by operation of the transmitter, and the parameter of the device is modified remotely by radio while seeing the display. The parameter signal by return from the receiver notifies results of the modification. Even if the device is made plurally in types or in number, it is unnecessary to detach the device from the controlled communication device, so as to readily modify the parameter.

    摘要: A device is provided that creates pulse signals for UWB with a simplified circuit and performs radio transmission/reception in ultrawideband. The signal processor converts transmission data into a transmission baseband and then transmits it to the Manchester converter circuit. The Manchester converter circuit creates Manchester codes, which are converted from an L level to an H level with bit data [1] of transmission data, or from an H level to an L level with bit data [0] of transmission data. The Manchester converter circuit drives the monopulse generator circuit, using the output monopulse. The monopulse generator circuit includes series resonator circuit, produces a monopulse signal of transient response, which converts from positive to negative or from negative to positive, in response to the edge of the pulse. The enable control circuit selects a monopulse signal to be transmitted and then transmits as an UWB transmission signal the monopulse signal modulated based on the bit data [1], [0], from the antenna A.
