A selective membrane having a high fouling resistance. In one embodiment, the selective membrane is a composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane having a hydrophilic coating made by covalently bonding a hydrophilic compound to the polyamide membrane, the hydrophilic compound including (i) a reactive group that is adapted to covalently bond directly to the polyamide membrane, the reactive group being at least one of a primary amine and a secondary amine; (ii) a non-terminal hydroxyl group; and (iii) an amide group. In another embodiment, the hydrophilic compound includes (i) a reactive group adapted to covalently bond directly to the polyamide membrane, the reactive group being at least one of a primary amine and a secondary amine; (ii) a hydroxyl group; and (iii) an amide group, the amide group being linked directly to the hydroxyl group by one of an alkyl group and an alkenyl group.

Provided are a digital rights management (DRM) method and apparatus, and more particularly, a DRM method and apparatus which can support different DRMs and use various digital content. The DRM method includes receiving a hello message request from a host device; comparing information included in the hello message request to information stored in advance; generating an error code when the hello message request contains unsupported information; and generating a hello message response that contains the error code.

The mobile web map service system includes a map server configured to provide map data to a terminal in response to a request from the terminal, a multimedia point of interest (mPOI) content provision server configured to provide multimedia information based on a geographic location represented by the map data in response to the request from the terminal, and a terminal configured to request and receive the map data and the multimedia information based on the geographic location represented by the map data, and output the received map data and multimedia information to a user. To overcome limitations of a conventional mobile web map service, a service can be configured using a service application programming interface (API) including hypertext markup language 5 (HTML5)-based geo-location, map-control, offline browsing, and mPOI functions.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for providing a network community service are provided. A user may register his or her networkable device in a server, and may check contexts of acquaintances in real-time through an online personal networking service. Also, the user may be provided with analysis data related to acquaintances in the same circumstances as the user, and contents may be shared between the user and acquaintances by communicably connecting a device of the user to devices of the acquaintances.
Abstract:
A web server for supporting a collaborative animation production service. The web server includes a user interface (UI) unit to provide a UI to receive direction data for each scene required for animation production in parallel to users connected to the web server, and a generating unit to combine the direction data input to the UI for each scene and generate an animation corresponding to the combined direction data. A plurality of users thereby collaborate to produce an animation in real time, making it possible to shorten the production time of the animation and produce a high quality animation.

A method and apparatus for searching a rights object and a mapping method and mapping apparatus for the same are provided. The apparatus for searching a rights object includes a transmitting/receiving unit which transmits at least one from a rights object identifier, content identifier list and a rights object to a portable storage device, and a searching unit which searches, from mapping information located in the portable storage device stored with the rights object identifier mapped with the content identifier from the content identifier list, the rights object identifier corresponding to the content identifier by using the content identifier as a search key, and retrieves the rights object stored in a rights slot corresponding to the searched rights object identifier.

An apparatus and method are provided for securely managing security data between a host device and a secure multimedia card. A host device includes an access mode setting unit which sets an access mode for security data that is stored in a secure multimedia card, a transmitting and receiving unit which transmits an access request message that includes the set access mode, and an access information managing unit which receives, if connection between the host device and the secure multimedia card is separated, access information stored in the secure multimedia card, and compares the access information.
