摘要: This invention provides an attachment for mounting electromagnetic identification tags onto the necks of bottles. The tag has a portion which provides a receptacle portion for an RFI tag. This receptacle portion is connected to a portion that embraces a neck of a bottle to attach the receptacle portion, and thereby, the RFID tag to the neck of the bottle. The identification tag may be formed from a material that does not interfere with electromagnetic signals.

摘要: This invention provides an attachment for mounting electromagnetic identification tags onto the necks of bottles. The tag has a portion which provides a receptacle portion for an RFI tag. This receptacle portion is connected to a portion that embraces a neck of a bottle to attach the receptacle portion, and thereby, the RFID tag to the neck of the bottle. The identification tag may be formed from a material that does not interfere with electromagnetic signals.

摘要: Known fluid dispensers can suffer from the disadvantage of inadvertent disconnection of a connector causing potentially hazardous spillage of fluid. The present invention relates to a fluid dispensing assembly comprising a tap and a connector body. The tap comprises a first valve, movable between an open and closed position to allow fluid flow through; and a first portion of an interlocking coupling, configured for rotational engagement with a second complementary interlocking coupling portion of the connector body by rotation about a first fluid dispensing assembly axis. The connector body also comprises a second valve, movable between an open and closed position to allow fluid flow through. By this configuration, the first and second interlocking coupling portions remain interlocked preventing disconnection of the connector body from the tap unless the first and second valves are both in the closed position.

摘要: Tap assembly configured to resist release of the tap when an internal vacuum is applied to the tap and to maintain aseptic conditions of fluid within an attached fluid container before first use of the tap. The tap assembly having an actuation member configured to cover at least a portion of a bore within a body; a cover configured to substantially enclose and abut a proximal portion of the actuation member to prevent actuation of the actuation member by engaging with the body; and a piercer element positioned on an end of the actuation member proximal to a sterility membrane sealed over the bore and including at least one projection to pierce the sterility membrane when the actuation member is actuated during first use of the tap assembly.
