摘要： The present invention relates to an anti-sleep apnea device including two electrodes and a pulse oximeter, adapted to be disposed on the user's wrist for releasing electrical pulses to an acupoint of the user, and a method of monitoring and treating sleep-apnea, whereby monitoring occurs via a pulse oximeter and treatment occurs by providing electrical stimulation to specific acupoint on the user.

摘要： A method for predicting blood glucose level of a person includes performing on the person a near-infrared spectral scan of a body part at a first group of wavelengths and at a second group of wavelengths, determining a first group of near-infrared absorbance values for the first group of wavelengths and a second group of near-infrared absorbance values for the second group of wavelengths, determining a first difference for the first group of near-infrared absorbance values and a second difference for the second group of near-infrared absorbance values, and calculating a blood glucose level for the person using the first and second differences.

摘要： A foot massage apparatus comprises: a housing (5); a pair of replaceable footprint plates (4) with holes (40) arranged according to a particular foot massage pattern, which are placed on an upper plate (51) of the housing (5); protrusions (2; 3) protruding from the holes (40) of each replaceable footprint plate (4); a vertical adjustment mechanism provided in the housing (5), for adjusting the height of the protrusions (2; 3); a horizontal adjustment mechanism provided in the housing (5), for adjusting the horizontal position of the protrusions (2; 3); and a driving mechanism provided in the housing (5), for driving the protrusions (2; 3) to move up and down cyclically. The foot massage apparatus of the present invention has the advantages of enhancing a particular bodily function and fitting different foot sizes.

摘要： An anti-sleep apnea device having an elastic abdomen belt optionally with a fabric strain sensor, a first signal-processing unit for processing signals from the fabric strain sensor in response to the change of circumference of the abdomen, two electrodes adapted to be disposed on the user's wrist for releasing electrical pulses to an acupoint of the user, a second signal-processing unit associated with the electrodes, and wireless means for transmitting signals from the first signal-processing unit to the second signal-processing unit. The present invention also discloses a method for managing sleep apnea by applying electrical pulses upon an acupoint of the user.
