    摘要: Disclosed herein is a display apparatus including a display section; a light radiating section; a plurality of light converging lenses; and a plurality of light receiving devices, wherein the display section includes pixel areas each used for creating a pixel section, and sensor areas each used for creating one of the light receiving devices; the light radiating section outputs light and radiates the output light to the display section from a particular-side surface of the display section; each of the light converging lenses is created in one of the sensor areas each located in the display section and converges light generated by the light radiating section on a focal point inside the display section, passing on the converged light to the other-side surface of the display section; and each of the light receiving devices is created in one of the sensor areas to serve as a device for receiving light which arrives at the other-side surface of the display section as light reflected by a subject of detection.

    摘要: A stereoscopic image display device includes: an image display unit that can display parallax images; an optical component that causes the parallax images to be recognized as a stereoscopic image; and a back light unit that is arranged on a rear face side of the image display unit, wherein the back light unit includes a first illumination section that illuminates the image display unit at a first outgoing angle at the time of displaying a planar image by using the image display unit and a second illumination section that illuminates the image display unit at a second outgoing angle, which is narrower than the first outgoing angle, at the time of displaying a stereoscopic image by using the image display unit and the optical component.

    摘要: A display includes: a display section that includes first pixels to nth pixels and displays perspective images assigned to the first to nth pixels; and a display control section that partitions the display section into sub-regions and performs display control on pixels in each of the sub-regions, independently, to vary a correspondence relationship between the first to nth pixels and the perspective images for each of the sub-regions. The display control section assigns a first perspective image to two pixels of the first pixel to the nth pixel and assigns a second perspective image to other two pixels of the first pixel to the nth pixel, in each of the sub-regions. The display control section adjusts a luminance level of one or both of the two pixels and a luminance level of one or both of the other two pixels in each of the sub-regions.
