An electronic device comprising: a content acquiring means capable of acquiring content acquired via a network or from inside of the electronic device, or generated inside of the electronic device; a first displaying means capable of displaying the acquired first content; a second displaying means arranged as a touch panel which is capable of accepting an input operation of a user, and capable of displaying the acquired second content; a display controlling means which, based on a predetermined condition, when the content acquiring means acquired third content in a state where the first and second content are displayed in the first and second displaying means, respectively, performs one of: (1) displaying in the second displaying means the third content clearing the second content, (2) presenting a split view by splitting the screen of the first display means into parts for the first and second content, and displaying in the second displaying means the third content, and (3) presenting a split view by splitting the screen of the second displaying means into parts for the second and third content.

A mobile terminal 20 receives a scene notification message via a communication network 10. The scene notification message at least includes scene identification information for identifying a scene corresponding to a part of a broadcast program, broadcast identification information on the time-difference broadcast of the scene, and URL information for accessing a server in which scene data is stored. Based on the scene notification message, the mobile terminal 20 receives a time-difference broadcast if it is a time at which the scene can be viewed by the time-difference broadcast and, if not, accesses a server 48, in which the data of the scene is stored, to acquire the data of the scene.
Abstract:
The present invention is a browser program for a content display apparatus, such as a TV set or a DVD player. This browser program displays the same number of windows provided correspondingly to at least a part of multiple buttons provided to a controller of the content display apparatus by superimposing them on a display area, is able to display at least a part of results of interpreting a markup language document in each window, and if one of the buttons other than the button corresponding to the window currently displayed in the highest-level layer is activated, it displays the window corresponding to this button in the highest-level layer.

The present invention enables a focus to be moved easily among focus items in different frames when frames are displayed. To do so, the last focused item in an in-frame document once activated is stored (S11) and, when a frame movement event is caused by a focus movement operation (S12, Yes), the focus is moved to a focus item stored for a new frame (S13). If the stored focus item is not in the display area of the frame, the focus is moved preferably to a predetermined (for example, the first)focus item in the display area. Operation means for the focus movement operation may be used with frame switching means for switching the active frame among frames.
