摘要： Methods, apparatus, and systems are disclosed for synchronizing streaming media content. An example apparatus includes a storage device, and a processor to execute instructions to identify a first source streaming broadcast media to a first computing device based on an audio fingerprint of audio associated with the broadcast media, identify sources broadcasting the broadcast media streaming to the first computing device, the sources available to a second computing device including the processor, select a second source of the identified sources for streaming the broadcast media to the second computing device, the second source different than the first source, detect termination of the streaming of the broadcast media on the first computing device, the termination corresponding to a termination time of the broadcast media, and automatically start, by using the selected second source, streaming of the broadcast media to the second computing device at the termination time.

摘要： The present technology relates a television apparatus that comprises circuitry configured to receive a digital broadcast signal, extract a packet including content included in the digital broadcast signal, extract time information included in a preamble of a physical layer frame, and send the time information and the packet including the content to other circuitry in the television apparatus. The television apparatus includes a transmission interface configured to interconnect the circuitry and the other circuitry. The television apparatus is further configured to process signaling that includes the time information that is comprised in the preamble of the physical layer frame in the digital broadcast signal.

For each media item of a plurality of media items, the server system determines a year associated with the media item. The server system selects content for the user based at least in part on an affinity of members of the demographic group, as compared to members of other demographic groups, for content from the year associated with the media item. The server system provides the selected content to a client device associated with the user.

摘要： A method and system for planning and running video-on-demand (VOD) advertising includes a planner for planning advertising campaigns and an ad selector for running selected advertisements from selected ones of the campaigns. The campaigns are associated with household demographic classifications, video content category categories, household geographic locations, and/or video viewing times. In response to a viewer requesting a video, the selector selects the campaigns corresponding to the demographic classification associated with the viewer, the content category of the requested video, the geographic location associated with the viewer, and/or the viewing time at which the requested video is viewed. The demographic classification is determined by using an identifier of the viewer's set-top-box. The selector may select the campaigns corresponding to the content categories of the requested video. The content categories are determined by using an identifier associated with the requested video.

摘要： A computer-implemented method of using video program viewing activity data as input to an aggregation engine built on the Hadoop MapReduce framework which calculates second-by-second video viewing activity for Linear, DVR, and VOD program level viewing including measuring trick play activity with results aggregated to the analyst's choice of program, program airing, channel, house attributes, device attributes, geographic area, demographic attributes, viewing date, or any combination of these fields, for each second of program content represented in the video program viewing data. The source data may be extracted from a database defined according to the Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. Media Measurement Data Model defined in “Audience Data Measurement Specification” as “OpenCable™ Specifications, Audience Measurement, Audience Measurement Data Specification” document OC-SP-AMD-I01-130502 or any similar format. These metrics provide detailed data needed to calculate information on customer viewing behavior that can drive business decisions for service providers, advertisers, and content producers.

摘要： A method, system, mobile device, apparatus and computer program product are provided for accurately determining whether one or more rights objects associated with a mobile device are valid. In particular, a secure time source (e.g., DRM clock or time) may be maintained by the mobile device and used to check the validity of the one or more rights objects. In order to ensure that the secure time source or clock remains accurate, the mobile device may update the secure time source by regularly requesting and receiving the DVB-H network time from a DVB-H network entity. Because the DVB-H network time is secure, accurate and readily accessible, it provides an ideal tool for correcting possible drift in the mobile device's secure time source.
