摘要: A multi-unit fuel cell system that includes a common-use reforming unit configured to supply hydrogen to multiple fuel cell units that are installed in multiple units, such as apartments within an apartment building. In one example embodiment, a fuel cell system including a common-use reforming unit and multiple fuel cell units is disclosed. The common-use reforming unit is configured to supply hydrogen to the plurality of fuel cell units. Each fuel cell unit includes a stack unit, an air supplying unit, an integral heat exchange unit, a hot-water supplying unit, an auxiliary heat supplying unit, and an electric output unit.

摘要: A fuel cell system comprises: a DBFC for generating a power by receiving a fuel; a PEMFC for generating a power by receiving hydrogen, a byproduct generated at an anode of the DBFC after a reaction, as a fuel; a supplementary power partially charged by a power generated at the DBFC and the PEMFC and discharging the charged power; a load sensing unit for sensing a load connected to the DBFC, the PEMFC, and the supplementary power; and a control unit for controlling a power of the DBFC, the PEMFC, and the supplementary power according to a load sensed by the load sensing unit and thereby selectively supplying to the load. According to this, hydrogen generated at the DBFC is recycled, and a load amount is sensed thus to stably correspond to a load variation, thereby maximizing a fuel usage efficiency and stably driving the system.

摘要: In a MEA (membrane electrode assembly) of a fuel cell including an electrolyte membrane as an ion transfer medium arranged between a bipolar plate having a fuel side open groove in which fuel flows and a bipolar plate having an air side open groove in which air flows so as to form a fuel path with the fuel side open groove and form an air path with the air side open groove; and a catalyst electrode inserted into the fuel side open groove so as to be separated from the electrolyte membrane in order to form a fuel path with both sides thereof and induce electrochemical oxidation with the fuel, by activating action occurred on the fuel electrode in which fuel is supplied and the air electrode in which air is supplied, current generating efficiency can be improved.

A fuel supply unit supplies hydrogen to the stack unit, and an air supply unit supplies air to the stack unit. A load corresponding unit measures an amount of electricity drawn from the stack unit by a load, and controls an amount of electricity generated by the stack unit based on the measurement.

摘要: Disclosed is a fuel cell system comprising: a fuel cell stack including an anode, a cathode, and an electrolyte membrane disposed therebetween; a fuel tank for supplying hydrogen-including fuel to the anode of the fuel cell stack; and an oxidant supplying unit for adding ozone to oxygen-including air and thereby supplying to the cathode of the fuel cell stack. According to this, ozone is supplied to the cathode of the fuel cell stack thus to accelerate a reaction speed in the fuel cell stack and thereby to obtain a relatively high current density.

摘要: In a bipolar plate of a fuel cell and a fabrication method thereof, the bipolar plate of the fuel cell includes a plate; a fluid flowing space formed on both sides of the plate; a fluid guide mesh installed on the fluid flowing space; an inflow path formed on the plate to be connected with the fluid flowing space; and an outflow path formed on the plate to be connected with the fluid flowing space. Also, in the fabrication method, the bipolar plate is fabricated with a certain mold and by a processing method. Accordingly, it is possible to uniformize flux distribution and reduce flow resistance of fuel and air respectively flowing into a fuel electrode and an air electrode of a fuel cell. In addition, reaction area with a M.E.A and diffusion zone can be increased, and fabrication can be simplified and facilitated.

摘要: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell stack (100) where an anode (110) and a cathode (120) are arranged under a state that an electrolyte membrane is positioned therebetween; a fuel tank (300) for storing a fuel; a fuel circulation supply means (400) for circulation-supplying a fuel stored in the fuel tank (300) to the anode of the fuel cell stack; an air supply unit (200) connected to the cathode of the fuel cell stack (100) by an air supply line, for supplying oxygen, etc. to the cathode (120); a sensing unit (500) for measuring a concentration of at least one of fuels supplied to the anode (110) and a control unit for receiving a signal of the sensing unit (500) and informing replacement time of a fuel. According to this, a fuel usage is maximized by informing replacement time of a used fuel and a filter (450) for filtering impurity by detecting a fuel consumption degree and an impurity generation amount.
