摘要： In a radio communication network system for use in carrying out communication with a plurality of radio telephone sets in a service zone by the use of a control channel and a plurality of speech channels, a connecting equipment unit (CE) is selectively operable in cooperation with a radio control unit (RCU) in a speech mode of forming a speech path through a selected one of the speech channels and an additional mode of selectively monitoring the control and the speech channels. The additional mode may be divided into first and second control modes for allowing and rejecting reception of a call with the control channel monitored, respectively. Alternatively, either a rest mode or a combination of rest and initial program loading modes may be added to the additional mode. A plurality of the connecting equipment units may be located in a single service zone and selectively put into the speech and the additional modes with only one of the connecting equipment units kept in the first control mode.

摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling a radio telephone system wherein a speech channel is established between one radio telephone handset out of a plurality of radio telephone handsets and a base unit. An interphone switch for selecting intercom communication is provided for respective radio telephone handsets. The transmitters of the radio telephone handsets are turned OFF when the intercom switch is OFF, and transmitters of the radio telephone handsets are turned ON when the intercom switch is ON. Consequently the connection between a wired telephone channel and the plurality of radio telephone handsets can be controlled with a single base unit connected to the wired telephone channel.

摘要： A wide area cordless telephone system covers a service area which is divided into a plurality of local areas to each of which belong a plurality of home position cordless telephones having multi-channel access capability. A plurality of access units are provided in each local area to define a plurality of access zones. A pre-dialing switching stage is provided for each local area to establish a connection between the access units and line terminals of a telephone switching system. Signals sent from any cordless telephone are received by a nearby access unit and applied to the pre-dialing switching stage. Each telephone transmits a registration request upon a manual command and, on receiving a response identifying a local area, returns an acknowlegement to identify the same local area as identified by the received response. On receiving a registration request, the pre-dialing switching stage transmits a response identifying the own local area through an access unit and assigns a reserved line terminal of the telephone switching system to a non-home position telephone if it is identified by the received request. On receiving an acknowledgement, the switching stage makes a registration of a telephone if the acknowledgement from it identifies the same local area as identified by the response.

摘要： A cordless telephone having a base unit and a plurality of radio telephone sets. The base unit delivers a ringing signal from a telephone line to a radio telephone set which is in telephone communication with a remote subscriber coupled to the telephone network, and a receiving radio telephone set in accordance with a request for transfer by the transferring radio telephone set. If the receiving radio telephone set responds to the ringing signal and goes off-hook, the telephone communication is transferred to the receiving radio telephone set from the transferring radio telephone set. If the receiving radio telephone set does not respond or does not go off-hook, the transferring radio telephone set responds to the ringing signal and goes off-hook to carry on the telephone communication.

摘要： For use in a mobile radio telephone network including radio telephone sets movable in an area divided into a predetermined number of zones, a communication control system includes a searching arrangement (25, 33) for searching one (15') of radio communication devices of the network as a searched communication device that is assigned to a present one of the zones into which a specific one (11') of the radio telephone sets has moved from a previous one of the zones. For operation of the searching arrangement, a communicating arrangement (22, 25, 32) of the system sends a call signal to a specific one of the radio communication devices that is assigned to the previous zone to transmit the call signal to the specific telephone set and receives a response signal transmitted from the specific telephone set if the specific telephone set were in the previous zone. For the communicating arrangement, a selecting arrangement (21, 25, 31) selects the specific communication device with reference to a memory (27) for memorizing, in correspondence to the radio telephone sets, location information indicative of the radio communication devices assigned to the zones in which the radio telephone sets are present at a time. The searching arrangement preferably updates the memory to make the information indicate the searched communication device instead of the specific communication device.

摘要： In a wide area cordless telephone system, a wide service area is divided into a plurality of local service areas identified respectively by unique codes. Each local area has home position portable cordless telephones to which telephone numbers are permanently assigned and can accommodate roaming non-home position telephones belonging to other local areas. Each telephone receives a pre-registration polling signal from one of access units located at key points and returns a pre-registration response signal if a unique code contained in the received polling signal mismatches a stored area code. A controller in each local area assigns a reserved telephone number, if available, to a roaming telephone in response to such a response signal and registers this cordless telephone in memory. The controller then transmits an acknowledgement signal indicating the completion of a registration. The registered telephone responds to it by returning a post-registration signal which is monitored by the controller. The registration of this telephone is cancelled if the controller fails to receive the post-registration signal for a prescribed time interval.

摘要： A method and an apparatus are disclosed for controlling a radio telephone system comprising a single master apparatus connected to a subscriber line and a plurality of radio telephone sets connected to the master apparatus by way of radio channel. When a call origination operation is made by one of the radio telephone sets, a call originating signal is sent to the master apparatus from the call originating radio telephone set. In response to the call originating signal, the master apparatus switches its radio channel to an idle speech channel, and sends a channel designating signal representing the idle speech channel to the plurality of radio telephone sets including the call originating radio telephone set so as to switch the radio channels of the radio telephone sets which have received the channel designating signal to the idle speech channel.
