Abstract:
A volatile liquid loadable porous metal or ceramic container and manufacturing method thereof provided with a structural body formed by metal or ceramic sintering and provided with breathable pores, which extend from an outer surface of the structural body to the interior of the structural body, and the breathable pores form spaces to transport or/and store liquid. The manufacturing method includes: a. taking a low temperature volatile material as the core; b. completely covering the aforementioned core with metal or ceramic powder in the predetermined mold; c. controlling compactness of the metal or ceramic powder; d. sintering of the core at a temperature higher than the vaporization temperature to cause gaseous effusion of the core; e. taking off the predetermined mold after completing sintering.
Abstract:
The disclosed folding mechanism comprises a rear frame member of a bicycle, which has a combining structure positioned at a front portion thereof, wherein the combining structure includes a first joining surface; a front frame member of the bicycle, which has a second joining surface positioned at a rear portion thereof for being joined with the first joining surface; at least one pivot structure, which is provided at an edge of the combining structure for connecting the front frame member, such that the front and rear frame members can relatively move on the pivot structure; and at least one binder, which is deposited at the combining structure of the rear frame member and a position on the front frame member adjacent to the combining structure for fixing the second joining surface of the front frame member and the first joining surface of the rear frame member at a combining position where the two joining surfaces contact mutually. By using the folding mechanism, a bicycle equipped with the same can be folded or expanded.
Abstract:
An electronic device system includes an electronic device and an earplug. The electronic device includes an alarm set module for setting an alarm time according to a user instruction; a clock module for timing and outputting a current time; a process module for comparing the current time with the alarm time, and generating an alarm signal when the current time reaches the alarm time; and a wireless transmission module for receiving the alarm signal and transmitting a corresponding wireless signal. The earplug includes a wireless receiver module for receiving the wireless signal; a control module for generating awake-up signal in response to the wireless signal; and an alarm module for generating an alarm upon receiving the wake-up signal. The electronic device system can be used to awaken a person in a noisy environment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a digital video recording system for use on an aircraft. The digital video recording system is configured with the same form factor as an analog video recording system to enable a direct hardware replacement. In addition the digital video recording system in accordance with the present invention is configured to emulate all of the functions of an analog video recording system including the ability to overwrite the existing data. By emulating the functions of an analog video recording system, aircraft which include cockpit controls for an analog video recording system can be reused with the newer digital video recording system. As such replacement of analog video recording systems is virtually seamless and does not require pilot training.
Abstract:
A light-duty vehicle with an adjustable wheelbase includes a linkage assembly composed of at least one main rod, a movable support, at least one movable rod and at least one adjusting rod, at least one power source connected in the linkage assembly, a seat mounted on a connecting rod having one end pivotally connected to the movable rod, and a driving wheel set composed of at least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel. The rear wheel is rotatably connected to the adjusting rod, while an opposite end of the main rod is connected to a fixed rod, which is coupled to a front fork above the front wheel. Thereby, when the power source modifies the linkage assembly in posture, the wheelbase between the front wheel and the rear wheel is changed so that the seat is adjusted in posture and altitude.
Abstract:
A modulized bicycle frame includes at least two frame body members each sidelong symmetric to each other and having a head connecting portion, a seat connecting portion and a bottom-bracket connecting portion, and a plurality of fastening members for combining the frame body members to form the bicycle frame. The frame body members are easy to assemble and disassemble so as to facilitate replacement and modification of the modulized bicycle frame. Besides, the frame body members are suitable for mass manufacture, thereby saving manufacturing costs.
