A method may include detecting activation of a second display on a multi-display computing apparatus including a first and second display. One example method includes receiving an indication of a transition to a multiple display mode, and in response to at least receiving the indication of the transition to the multiple display mode, causing a home screen with home screen content to be displayed by a first display of a device. The example method may further include, in response to at least receiving the indication of the transition to the multiple display mode, causing application content provided by an application being implemented to be displayed by a second display of the device while the home screen with the home screen content is being displayed by the first display.
