摘要: The present invention claims a nuclear reactor which can package the nuclear fuel and the coolant together in a spherical solid and transfer heat to the steam generator through the flow of spherical solid between the reactor vessel (1) and the steam generator (2) by two sets of mechanical transmission systems (4). The reactor is featured in high inherent safety, high outlet temperature parameter and full use of the nuclear fuel. It can be applied in many fields, such as power generation, hydrogen production, heating, liquefaction and gasification of coal and so on.

摘要: A titanium based composite which includes a Ti(Al,O) base matrix, discrete ceramic particles, and an oxide layer on the surface of the composite. The discrete ceramic particles are integrally associated with the Ti(Al,O) base matrix and the oxide layer, so that at a temperature of above about 600° C., the composite is substantially resistant to oxidation and spallation.
