Abstract: A transparent substrate with non-transparent film includes a transparent substrate; and a non-transparent film formed on the transparent substrate.The non-transparent film includes first projections, each having a diameter of greater than 10 μm, in a cross section, at a height of 0.05 μm plus a bearing height of a surface shape obtained by measuring a region of (101-111 μm)×(135-148 μm); and second projections, each having a diameter of 1-10 μm or less, in a cross section, at a height of 0.5 μm plus the bearing height of the surface shape.A maximum height of each of the first projections, with reference to a height at a lowest part in the region, is 8.0-30.0 μm.A number of the second projections is 0.001-0.05 per 1 μm2, and an average height of the second projections, with reference to the bearing height, is 1.50-5.00 μm.

Abstract: A glass substrate with a silica film according to the present invention includes a glass substrate and a silica film formed using a silica film-forming composition, in which the composition includes at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a hydrolyzable compound, a hydrolyzate thereof, and a hydrolysis condensation compound thereof, and at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a silica particle and a zirconia particle, the hydrolyzable compound consisting of a tetraalkoxysilane, a compound (compound I) represented by formula I: (R3-p(L)pSi-Q-Si(L)pR3-p), optionally a fluoroalkylsilane having a hydrolysable group, and optionally a zirconium compound having a hydrolyzable group, and the contents of the tetraalkoxysilane, the compound I, and the at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a silica particle and a zirconia particle in terms of SiO2/ZrO2 fall within specified ranges, respectively.
