Abstract: The method for isomerizing an organic compound comprises a step of selecting an alumina so that the acid amount calculated from the amount of ammonia desorbed at a desorption temperature of at least 300° C. by temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia is at least 0.10 mmol/g and at most 0.25 mmol/g; a step of fluorinating the selected alumina by a fluorinating agent to produce a partially fluorinated alumina; and a step of isomerizing, by using the obtained partially fluorinated alumina, an organic compound having at least two carbon atoms wherein to at least one of the adjacent carbon atoms, at least one fluorine atom is bonded and to the other, at least one chlorine atom or hydrogen atom is bonded.

Abstract: A chemically strengthened glass having a compressive stress layer formed in a surface layer thereof according to an ion exchange method, in which a surface of the glass has polishing flaws, the glass has a texture direction index (Stdi) of 0.30 or more, a hydrogen concentration Y in a region to a depth X from an outermost surface of the glass satisfies the following relational equation (I) at X=from 0.1 to 0.4 (μm), and a surface strength F (N) measured by a ball-on-ring test is (F≥1400×t2) relative to a sheet thickness t (mm) of the glass: Y=aX+b (I) in which meanings of respective symbols in the equation (I) are as follows: Y: hydrogen concentration (as H2O, mol/L), X: depth from the outermost surface of the glass (μm), a: −0.300 or more, and b: 0.220 or less.

Abstract: A method of producing a hydrofluoroolefin includes reacting a chlorofluoroolefin that is represented by Formula (I) or Formula (II) and that has 8 or less carbon atoms with a hydrogen molecule, in the presence of an intermetallic compound containing at least one first metal that is selected from the group consisting of palladium, platinum, rhodium, copper and iridium, and containing a second metal that is different from the first metal, to obtain a hydrofluoroolefin in which a hydrogen atom is substituted for at least a chlorine atom represented by Cl among chlorine atoms contained in Formula (I) or Formula (II).
