Abstract: The present invention relates to a glass including, in terms of mole percentage based on oxides: SiO2 in an amount of 45% to 65%; Al2O3 in an amount of 18% to 30%; Li2O in an amount of 7% to 15%; one or more selected from Y2O3 and La2O3 in a total amount of 0% to 10%; P2O5 in an amount of 0% to 10%; B2O3 in an amount of 0% to 10%; and ZrO2 in an amount of 0% to 4%, and satisfying the following expression: [Al2O3]—[R2O]—[RO]—[P2O5]>0, provided that, in terms of mole percentage based on oxides, a content of Al2O3 is defined as [Al2O3], a content of P2O5 is defined as [P2O5], a total content of alkali metal oxides is defined as [R2O], and a total content of alkali earth metal oxides is defined as [RO].

Abstract: A glass substrate for high-frequency devices includes, in terms of molar percentage based on oxides: one or more alkaline-earth metal oxides in a total amount of 0.1 to 13%; Al2O3 and B2O3 in a total amount of 1 to 40%, in which a molar ratio of the contents represented by Al2O3/(Al2,O3+B2O3) is 0 to 0.45; at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of Sc2O3, TiO2, ZnO, Ga2O3, GeO2, Y2O3, ZrO2, Nb2O5, In2O3, TeO2, HfO2, Ta2O5, WO3, Bi2O3, La2O3, Gd2O3, Yb2O3, and Lu2O3, in a total amount of 0.1 to 1.0%; and SiO2 as a main component. The glass substrate has a dielectric dissipation factor at 35 GHz of 0.007 or less.

Abstract: An alkali-free glass includes, as represented by mol % based on oxides: 50 to 80% of SiO2; 2 to 6% of Al2O3; 18 to 35% of B2O3; 1 to 6% of MgO; 0 to 6% of CaO; 0 to 6% of SrO; and 0 to 3% of BaO. A formula (A) is [MgO]+[CaO]+[SrO]+[BaO], and a value of the formula (A) is 2% or more and 6% or less. A formula (B) is [Al2O3]—([MgO]+[CaO]+[SrO]+[BaO]), and a value of the formula (B) is −3% or more and 2% or less.

Abstract: A glass plate has a dielectric dissipation factor at 10 GHz of tan δA and a glass transition temperature of Tg° C. The glass plate satisfies (tan δ100−tan δA)≥0.0004, where tan δ100 is a dielectric dissipation factor of the glass plate at 10 GHz after having been heated to (Tg+50)° C. and then cooled to (Tg−150)° C. at 100° C./min.
