摘要: A low-profile wideband monopole antenna is provided. The antenna may include a radiating element configured in a bent monopole arrangement to provide a vertical polarization such that an omni-directional radiating characteristic is achieved. The radiating element may include a plurality of slots formed at or edged from each side of the radiating element to increase the effective current path length of the radiating element. The antenna may include a feed and a feeding structure extending from the radiating element to the feed. The antenna may further include a ground plane. The radiating element may be arranged substantially parallel to the ground plane. The surface area of the radiating element may be smaller than the ground plane.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to method of operating television white space (TVWS) geo-location database (GLDB). The method comprises: embedding a plurality of data signals in a plurality of radio frequency (RF) broadcast signals of at least one existing television or radio channel, wherein the data signals comprise at least one of TVWS GLDB data, time reference data and broadcast transmitter data which comprises at least one of transmitter location data and transmitter identification; and transmitting, over a RF network which is other than an internet protocol (IP) network, the RF broadcast signals together with the embedded data signals to a plurality of white space devices.

摘要: An antenna array integrated in an integrated circuit package. The antenna array may include a first receiver column. The antenna array may also include a plurality of second receiver columns. The antenna array may also include a first transmitter column and a second transmitter column arranged between the first receiver column and the plurality of second receiver columns. A spacing between the first transmitter column and the second transmitter column may be about half a spacing between neighbouring second receiver columns of the plurality of second receiver columns. A distance between the first receiver column and a second receiver column of the plurality of second receiver columns nearest to the first receiver column may be about N times the spacing between the neighbouring second receiver columns of the plurality of second receiver columns, N being a number of second receiver columns.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to low-cost and low-complexity mesh routing method to provide connectivity within a channel-diverse mesh network in which there is no common channel available for the whole network and in which a single transceiver is provided in each node. The mesh routing method includes a procedure for flooding radio resource maps (RRMs), a procedure for determining the operating channel for each mesh node device, a routing procedure for establishing a route for a pair of source device and destination device, and a maintenance procedure for repairing routes and optimize selection of operating channel.
