摘要： L-Glutamic acid is produced by culturing glutamic acid producing strains of Brevibacterium, Corynebacterium, Microbacterium, and Micrococcus on media which provide catechol, benzyl alcohol, benzoic acid, hydroxybenzoic acid, phenylacetic acid, protocatechuic acid, phenol and other aromatic compounds as at least 70 percent (by weight) of the carbon sources available during fermentation.
