Abstract: A pump for a vial intended to contain a cosmetic product includes a variable-volume dosing chamber defined at least partially by a deformable element. The pump operates by varying the volume of the chamber by elastic deformation of a membrane of the deformable element from an initial state wherein the chamber has a maximum volume to a deformed state wherein the volume of the chamber is minimal. The chamber is provided with a product inlet orifice and a product outlet orifice, and the pump includes deformation means of the membrane configured to exert pressure on the membrane. Finally, the pump includes means to purge the air from the chamber, that is activated when the membrane is in its deformed state, the purging means enabling the dosing chamber to communicate with the outside of the pump.
