摘要: The present disclosure generally discloses improvements in computer performance for supporting a multipath transport throughput capability that is configured to improve throughout of a multipath transport connection of a multipath transport protocol. The multipath transport throughput capability is configured to improve the throughput of the multipath transport connection by improving delivery of acknowledgment packets acknowledging successful delivery of data packets sent from a data transmitting side to a data receiving side. The multipath transport throughput capability may be configured to improve the delivery of acknowledgment packets from the data receiving side to the data transmitting side by, for a data packet that is successfully received at the data receiving side from the data transmitting side, sending multiple acknowledgment packets from the data receiving side to the data transmitting side where the multiple acknowledgment packets associated with the received data packet may be sent over multiple transport connections of the multipath transport connection.

摘要: Methods for managing network resources for multicast streams based on unicast load conditions of a base station in a communications network include monitoring unicast load conditions of the base station, and adjusting bearer properties for a multicast stream based on the unicast load conditions. A broadcast provisioning server (BPS) manages network resources for multicast streams based on unicast load conditions of a base station in a communications network. The BPS may be configured to monitor unicast load conditions of the base station and adjust bearer properties for a multicast stream based on the unicast load conditions.

摘要: A system and method for propagating fault information in an Ethernet OAM network having multiple levels of OAM domains. An Alarm Indication and Suppression (AIS) frame is generated by a Maintenance Intermediate Point (MIP) node upon detecting a fault condition in a first OAM domain, which is transmitted to one or more Maintenance End Points (MEPs) of the first OAM domain. Upon receiving the AIS frames, the MEP nodes are operable generate another AIS frame for propagating to an adjacent higher level second OAM domain. Responsive to the AIS frame from the lower level first OAM domain, any alarms caused in the second OAM domain due to the fault condition in the first OAM domain are suppressed.

摘要: A base station modifies one or more cell reselection parameters for idle user equipment camped on a carrier of the base station in response to changes in a measured load of active user equipment on the carrier. The base station may then transmit the one or more cell reselection parameters.

摘要: A capability for modifying parameters of a wireless access node is provided. The capability for modifying parameters of a wireless access node may support use of parameter monitoring and computation functions to jointly improve or optimize capacity for voice and data users in wireless networks. The capability for modifying parameters of a wireless access node may include detecting a trigger event associated with the wireless access node, modifying a signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (SINR) threshold of the wireless access node responsive to the trigger event, modifying a call admission control (CAC) threshold of the wireless access node based on evaluation of a parameter associated with modification of the SINR threshold of the wireless access node, and further modifying the CAC threshold of the wireless access node based on evaluation of a parameter associated with modification of the CAC threshold of the wireless access node.
