Abstract: A server may assign a temporary phone number and an extension number to a shipment. The temporary phone number may be based on a geographic location of where the shipment is to be delivered. The extension number is associated with the shipment. The temporary phone number and extension number may be included on a shipping label rather than the user's phone number. During the delivery of the shipment, a delivery person may encounter a delivery issue, such as needing directions. The delivery person may call the temporary phone number and extension number and be connected to a user device. The delivery person may communicate the delivery issue, such as asking for directions to the user's residence. Upon delivery of the shipment, the server disassociates the temporary phone number and the extension number from the shipment.

Abstract: A device, having executed a single sign-on operation, may maintain a private device key in volatile memory. A client application may request an authentication artifact as part of obtaining authentication credentials for the device. Responsive to the request, an artifact may be signed with the private device key to generate the requested authentication artifact. The single sign-on operation may be authenticated using an authentication device and a wrap key generated and applied by a secure cryptographic processor using an identifier based on an attestation certificate obtained from the authentication device after successful authentication. The wrap key may be used to decrypt the private device key stored on a persistent device storage.

Abstract: A node disconnection rotation may be performed on an active synchronizing node pool of a multi-node replication system. The node disconnection rotation may ensure that at least one node is disconnected from the active synchronizing node pool at any given time. A disconnected node does not synchronize with other nodes during the time that it is disconnected. A disconnected node may, therefore, serve as a designated survivor, from which the system may be restored, when other active nodes are subject to a cyber-attack. Although the disconnected designated survivor node may potentially be compromised, it may be sanitized of any malicious contents prior to restart.

The second string is determined to differ from the first string of untrusted text. One or more actions are implemented in response to determining that the second string differs from the first string of untrusted text.
