Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for submitting video evidence. A request is received from a user of a security device to submit an identified video clip as video evidence to an agency, and the identified video clip and corresponding metadata is retrieved from a database of video clips. Additional information about content of the video clip is interactively collected from the owner and a digital signature is received from the owner. A video evidence file is generated to include the content of the identified video clip, information regarding capture of the video clip based upon the metadata, the additional information, and the digital signature. The video evidence file is then communicated to the agency.

Abstract: A method includes receiving video data from an A/V recording and communication device (A/V device) having a camera, the video data representing an object in a field of view (FOV) of the camera. The method further includes receiving, from the A/V device, identifying information for a wireless device proximate the object in the FOV of the camera (the FOV identifying information). The method further includes, after receiving the FOV identifying information, storing the video data and the FOV identifying information in a memory. The method further includes receiving identifying information for one or more wireless devices associated with activity of interest (the identifying information of interest). The method further includes determining that the FOV identifying information matches the identifying information of interest. The method further includes, after determining that the FOV identifying information matches the identifying information of interest, creating a record associating the video data with activity of interest.

Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing of video footage from audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices to smart television (TV) devices in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, a method for playing back video footage captured by A/V recording and communication devices located in a plurality of neighborhoods, using a smart TV, is provided, the method comprising: connecting the smart TV to a neighborhood subscriber channel; subscribing to a first channel of the neighborhood subscriber channel, wherein the first channel is associated with a first neighborhood of the plurality of neighborhoods; receiving a list of available content shared with the first neighborhood, wherein the available content shared with the first neighborhood includes first image data captured using a camera of a first A/V recording and communication device; and selecting and playing back, on the smart TV, the first image data.
