    Abstract: Herein described are apparatuses, systems, and methods for measurement and reporting of channel state information within wireless network systems. In embodiments, an apparatus for a user equipment (UE) may include memory to store a rank indicator (RI), a precoding matrix index (PMI), and a channel quality indicator (CQI) of channel state information (CSI) for the UE. The apparatus may further include circuitry to concatenate the RI, the PMI, and the CQI to produce a concatenated CSI element, generate a CSI report that includes the concatenated CSI element, and cause the CSI report to be transmitted to a base station within a single slot. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) can include processing circuitry configured to decode control information of a physical down-in link control channel (PDCCH) received via a resource within a control resource set (CORESET) occupying a subset of a plurality of e OFDM symbols within a slot. At least one of the symbols in the subset coincides with a pre-defined symbol location associated with a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) of a PDSCH. The DM-RS can be detected within the slot, the DM-RS starting at a symbol 01 location that is shifted from the pre-defined symbol location and following the subset of symbols. Downlink data scheduled by the
    PDCCH and received via the PDSCH can be decoded, where the decoding is based on the detected DM-RS.

    Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate RS (Reference Signal) sequence generation and mapping, and/or precoder assignment, for NR (New Radio). One example embodiment employable at a NR wireless communication device comprises processing circuitry configured to: generate one or more PN (Pseudo Noise) sequences based at least in part on an initial state of a PN generator; extract, for each PRB (Physical Resource Block) of one or more PRBs, an associated portion of an associated PN sequence of the one or more PN sequences, based at least in part on a reference subcarrier index, independent of a bandwidth part configuration and of a maximum supported number of PRBs; and generate, for each PRB of the one or more PRBs, an associated set of RS(s) for that PRB based at least in part on the extracted associated portion of the associated PN sequence for that PRB.

    Abstract: Described is an apparatus of an Evolved Node-B (eNB). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to determine a first Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) sequence and a second SRS sequence. The second circuitry may be operable to process a first Uplink (UL) transmission from the first UE incorporating the first SRS sequence over a first set of subcarrier frequencies.     Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate reduced density CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signals). One example embodiment can be employed at a UE (User Equipment) and can comprise processing circuitry configured to receive and process a configuration message that comprises one or more configuration parameters for one or more CSI (Channel State Information)-RS (Reference Signal) APs (Antenna Ports) of a configurable density CSI-RS. The configuration parameters indicate a density of CSI-RS resource per Physical Resource Block (PRB) per CSI-RS AP and a PRB offset. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a set of REs (Resource Elements) for the one or more CSI-RS APs of the configurable density CSI-RS based on the one or more configuration parameters and perform measurements on the configurable density CSI-RS from the set of REs to determine one or more CSI parameters. The one or more configuration parameters are provided per CSI-RS resource configuration.
