A vehicle wiper device includes a wiper arm, a drive source, a drive shaft that is pivoted by the drive source, and a wiper arm urging member. The wiper arm urging member includes a swing member, an inclination member, a rod, and a compression spring. The inclination member includes a wiper fixing portion and a drawing portion. The rod includes a basal end supported by the drawing portion. A first end of the compression spring is supported by the swing member and the second end applies an urging force to a distal end of the rod. The compression spring acts to draw the drawing portion and urge a distal end of the wiper arm toward a wiped surface.
Abstract:
In a vehicle wiper device, a retaining portion is formed inside an arm piece at respective areas of a base end side fixing section, a main body, and a leading end side fixing section of the arm piece. A hose is retained by the retaining portion. This thereby enables the hose to be retained to the arm piece without using a retaining member, such as a holder, to retain the hose to the arm piece. Moreover, disposing the hose inside the arm piece enables the hose to be suppressed from being exposed or projecting out from the arm piece. The hose can accordingly be retained in the arm piece without having a detrimental effect on the appearance and while suppressing an increase in cost of the vehicle wiper device.

This transparent shield device has a windshield that is disposed in the sensing direction of an onboard camera. The windshield has an outer surface that is exposed to the outside. The outer surface has an extended imaging area, which includes the imaging area of the onboard camera, and a surrounding area. Furthermore, the transparent shield device has a water-repellent sticker that is positioned within the extended imaging area and/or a water-attracting coating layer that is positioned within the surrounding area. Liquid droplets deposited on the outer surface can be moved out of the imaging area or prevented from entering the imaging area from the surrounding area.
