Abstract: An electronic device includes a touch panel with a touch area and a command button and includes an independent input mode and a dual input mode. In addition, a control method of an electronic device includes steps of: receiving touch data; determining whether the dual input mode needs to be executed or not, according to the touch data, executing the dual input mode when the dual input mode is determined to be executed, and executing the independent input mode when the dual input mode is not determined to be executed; and determining whether the touch panel is operated within a preset time or not, after executing the dual input mode, considering the touch data as a gesture input when the touch panel is determined as being used within a preset time, and switching to the independent input mode if not.

Abstract: An electrical device and an operation control method are provided. The electronic device includes a touch module and a processor. The touch module includes a touchable region. The touchable region is divided into at least a first touchable region and a second touchable region. The first touchable region is configured to implement a first function. The second touchable region is configured to implement the first function and a second function. The processor is electrically connected to the touch module. When at least one first touch point is detected in the first touchable region, at least one second touch point is detected in the second touchable region, and the processor determines that a distance between the first touch point and the second touch point is within a predetermined distance, the second touchable region is switched to implementing the first function.

Abstract: A touch sensing method is provided. The touch sensing method is applied to an electronic device with a touchable unit. The touch sensing method comprises the following steps: sensing a touch event by using the touchable unit; detecting a current operation mode; triggering a corresponding touch operation according to the touch event when the current operation mode is a touch recognition mode; determining whether the touch event is touch gesture input or key input when the current operation mode is a key recognition mode; triggering corresponding key operation according to the key input when the touch event is the key input; and triggering a corresponding touch operation according to the touch gesture input when the touch event is the touch gesture input.
