Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for a first UE for resource allocation on relay channel in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the method includes the first UE receives a transport block from a second UE, wherein the transport block contains a MAC control element. In addition, the method includes the first UE triggers a BSR. The method also includes the first UE triggers and transmits a SR (Scheduling Request) to a base station when the first UE has no data available for transmission and has no uplink resource for transmission of the BSR. The method further includes the first UE triggers and transmits the BSR to the base station, wherein the BSR considers the MAC control element as part of buffer size.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for implementing reference signal transmissions in a wireless communication system. According to one method, the UE receives a downlink transmission burst from a base station in a first unlicensed channel. The UE also receives an information in a second channel, wherein the information defines whether a subframe is an end subframe of the downlink transmission burst in the first unlicensed channel. The UE determines whether or not to receive a control message, data, or a reference signal from a next frame in the first unlicensed channel. The UE receives the control message, data, or the reference signal from the next frame in the first unlicensed channel if the information indicates that the subframe is not the end subframe of the downlink transmission burst. Alternatively, the UE refuses to receive the control message, data, or the reference signal from the next frame in the first unlicensed channel if the information indicates that the subframe is the end subframe of the downlink transmission burst.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for handling measurement in a wireless communication system. In one embodiment, the method includes the UE measuring a signal of a cell to derive information related to beamforming. The method further includes the UE providing the information to a network node, wherein the information comprises at least an average or a summation of measurement results for a number of qualified beams of the cell, and wherein the number of qualified beams to derive the average or the summation is limited by a first threshold.
