Abstract: Facilitating multiple step network configuration activation automation based on parallel processing is provided herein. Operations of a system include based on a determination that a network activation is to be implemented on target equipment, parsing the network activation into a first group of initialization portion actions and a second group of active target actions. The operations also can include implementing, via first parallel processing, the first group of initialization portion actions on the target equipment. Further, the operations can include, based on a second determination of a completion of the implementing of the first group of initialization portion actions, implementing, via second parallel processing, the second group of active target actions on the target equipment during an implementation period. The target equipment are equipment of a virtual local area network.

Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for minimizing customer impact during network access migrations. For instance, in one example, a method includes detecting a change in an access network that affects a first network circuit connecting a customer premises to a first provider edge router and provisioning a second network circuit in response to the detecting, wherein the provisioning comprises taking an action to preserve a wide area network internet protocol address of the customer premises on the first network circuit in the second network circuit.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving instructions to validate a configuration associated with an application under test, the instructions identifying the application under test that exists in a first particular software environment that is selected from among a plurality of software environments; receiving dependency data, the dependency data identifying a dependency application that exists in a second particular software environment that is selected from among the plurality of software environments; performing a first process to determine whether the application under test that exists in the first particular software environment can be instantiated as a first running application, the first process resulting in a first determination; responsive to the first determination being that the application under test that exists in the first particular software environment can be instantiated as the first running application, automatically performing with no user interaction a second process to determine whether the dependency application that exists in the second particular software environment can be instantiated as a second running application, the second process resulting in a second determination; and automatically outputting with no user interaction a report indicating the first determination and the second determination. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: For systems that can include, but are not limited to telecommunications, content distribution, and internetworking, the technologies described herein are generally directed to deploying network services, e.g., for large inventories of network equipment, complex deployments, and different processes being handled by isolated and difficult to modify legacy systems. For example, a method described herein can include receiving, by operations support equipment comprising a processor, a provisioning request for a network provisioning task. The method can further include, based on the network provisioning task, selecting, by the operations support equipment, a logical provisioning model to facilitate processing the provisioning request. Further, the network can include, based on the logical provisioning model, identifying, by the operations support equipment, an infrastructure engine to provision network equipment corresponding to the network provisioning task.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining first information indicative of one or more historical operating characteristics of a network; obtaining second information indicative of one or more current operating characteristics of the network; comparing, via a first computer-implemented process that requires no manual intervention, the first information to the second information to make a prediction of a potential future network event, resulting in a predicted future network event; classifying, via a second computer-implemented process that requires no manual intervention, the predicted future network event into one of a plurality of classes of network events; and responsive to the classifying, facilitating, via a third computer-implemented process that requires no manual intervention, an action to at least partially avoid an occurrence of the predicted future network event. Other embodiments are disclosed.
