A display device includes an output circuit, a multiplexer, and a controller. The output circuit is configured to output a data voltage to an output pin. The multiplexer is configured to sequentially output the data voltage to different data lines according to a first multiplexing signal and a second multiplexing signal. The controller is configured to generate a control signal according to a variation of the data voltage to make the output pin output a default voltage level different from the data voltage corresponding to the data voltage.
Abstract:
A display device and a shutdown control method thereof are provided. In the display device, a display panel has multiple pixels. A power supply circuit generates a power supply voltage, a gate high voltage and a common voltage according to an input power. A gate driver generates gate scan signals, and a source driver provides source driving signals to drive the display panel. A shutdown detection circuit detects a variation state of voltages values of the power supply voltage, the input voltage and the gate high voltage, and starts a shutdown process when the variation state is a decreasing state. In the shutdown process, the source driver makes the source driving signals to be equal to a reference ground voltage, the gate driver generates the gate scan signals with a high voltage pulse, and the power supply circuit makes the common voltage to be equal to the reference ground voltage.

A charge-sharing controlling method and a display panel are disclosed. The charge-sharing controlling method is suitable for the display panel including plural sub-pixels. The charge-sharing controlling method includes following steps: determining whether the display panel is displaying a primary color screen; if the display panel is displaying a primary color screen, prolonging an activated time of a charge-sharing circuit, which is coupled between any two of the sub-pixels displaying the same color, adjacent to each other and having opposite polarities.

A driving device is configured for driving a display panel and includes a data driver, a plurality of switches, and an image determiner. The switch is electrically coupled between data lines of a first data line group. The data driver is configured to output data signals to the data lines of the first data line group. The data signals transferred by the data lines of the first data line group include a plurality of pulse transitions while the display panel displays an image. The image determiner is configured to determine the image displayed by the display panel and output a driving signal based on a determined result for activating a corresponding switch such that the data lines of the first data line group can perform charge sharing therebetween. Furthermore, a method for driving a display panel is disclosed herein.

A display apparatus and a driving method thereof are provided. A data driving chip provides a plurality of data voltages to a plurality of multiplexers through a plurality of output lines. When the display apparatus displays a pure gray pattern, the data voltages are alternately provided to a first data line group and a second data line group during a scan line driving period of each of the scan lines to make two adjacent pixels have different polarities. During a blank period, a plurality of data lines corresponding to a plurality of pixels having the same color and the same polarity on two adjacent scan lines are electrically coupled to each other through the data driving chip to share charges.
