    摘要: An apparatus and method for electrical transport refrigeration, including generating a direct current (DC) voltage; storing the DC voltage in a high voltage DC storage; sensing a current requirement from an electrical load (e.g., a refrigeration unit), wherein the current requirement is proportional to a power requirement of the electrical load; transporting the DC voltage from the high voltage DC storage to an inverter, wherein the DC voltage is in an amount consistent with the power requirement; converting the DC voltage to an inverted AC voltage: determining a voltage in a voltage path; and triggering a switch to connect the electrical load to the voltage path it the voltage is the inverted AC voltage. And, the apparatus and method may include connecting a battery to an operating control unit of the refrigeration unit to enable a soft start of a compressor. In one example, the apparatus is a tractor-trailer system.
